Hi, I'm Rebecca, and I am pleased to be offering weekend date night babysitting! I am available Fridays after 6 pm and all day on Saturdays. I even offer overnights, although I need to be off by 7 am on Sundays. I am happy to do a few meetups or even trial runs of babysitting for a couple hours to make sure your children are comfortable with me before you leave them for a longer time. I love babies, and am experienced with baby wearing, paced feeding, baby led weaning, formula feeding, and feeding pumped milk. I would love to care for your infant the way *you* want me to. For toddlers and older kids, my favorite things to do include outdoor play, books, and imaginary play (blocks, dress up, etc) I love to watch children learn new things and discover the world, and it's an honor to be a part of that process. I charge $15-$20 an hour for date night babysitting, and my rates for overnights are: $175 for 6 pm on Friday to 9 am Saturday and then $150 for 6 pm on Saturday to 7 am Sunday.

I love being a sitter because caring for kids has been a part of my life from a young age. I started babysitting while I was growing up, and now I’m excited to welcome my first baby in October. I have several years of hands-on experience, including helping my sister at her daycare when they were short-staffed. I’m comfortable with daily routines, engaging activities, and keeping kids safe and happy. Training and certifications: N/A. My roles so far haven’t required formal certifications, but I bring strong practical experience and a calm, reliable presence. If a family prefers specific certifications (like CPR/First Aid), I’m open to completing them.

I have always loved children...their happiness & comfort is very important to me. Caring for them, playing with them, and helping them learn new things are some of my favorite things to do. I have worked in kids ministry at our church for 6 years, been a private baby-sitter for a year, and have worked at a daycare in various age groups for just shy of a year. I have experience with children from 8 months old to 5 years old. I am looking for an opportunity to dedicate my services to one family, but I am open to other opportunities as well.

!! A disclaimer: I do have a current shift lead job at Walgreens but I am able to adjust my days and times I work according to my managers discretion. In order to adjust I can discuss dates and times through messaging!! I'm a creative and positive person who enjoys caring for children. I hope to expand my knowledge of caregiving to be more prevalent in the babysitting workforce. I was homeschooled by my mother who held math and grammar at the utmost importance of my education, alongside more exploratory skills I learned through 4-H and other clubs I participated in throughout my childhood. In my last year of high school I took college level math classes and continued taking courses to explore my options. I now work at a Walgreens and was recently promoted to shift lead and approval to pursue pharmacy tech work. My experiences come from helping in family gatherings and visits to family member's homes to take care of their kids in efforts to relieve the parents of their worries while they enjoy their time together. I always made sure the children were well-supervised and had fun under my care. These were not professional roles, however I wish to make it professional through this app.
