I knew from a young age I was meant to work with children and I have since I was 17 years old. I have taken more CPR and First Aid courses then I can remember over the years. I am currently employed by a family in Tullahoma so my hours must be taken into consideration unfortunately. I work M T W Th F from 8:00-3:30. I am available in the evening and weekends anytime. I realize that will limit my possibilities, but I have been with the family for over five years and currently I am homeschooling the two children. Hey y’all, my name is Emma Nichols. Technically I have about 19 years worth of babysitting- I lucked out and was my parents first of 3 girls, but I have 4 years and counting of professional childcare. Over the years I have many responsibilities including: meal prep, proper hygiene, quality and appropriate entertainment, special needs care, infant care, sick care, potty training, house work, homework help, pet care, and safe transportation to/ from school, running errands, and extracurriculars. I have worked at a daycare and have multiple certifications and experience from my time there. At the daycare, I experienced working with a dozen to two dozen children in one setting. This helped build my awareness of surroundings and attention to detail. Though I am younger, I do not think there are many obstacles I haven’t accomplished. I am currently employed in the healthcare industry and take my experience in medicine with my care for children in case their is ever an emergency or just something simple like a stomach bug. I was a nanny to 3 little girls for a couple of years, and I am also the oldest of 5 kiddos and have been babysitting them since I can remember.
