Hello. Thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Arloa Fine. I have about five years experience in childcare, working with kids ranging from 8 months through 5 years. Recently, I worked as a full time nanny in the mornings and overnights caring for a preschool child with special needs. I’ve also served many families throughout the Nashville and surrounding areas, baby sitting multiple children ranging from toddler to junior high. Some of these positions were 1:1 while others were with multiple children with significant age differences. Prior to nannying and baby sitting, l worked as a lead teacher in a 12-24 month classroom, which eventually included children 8 months old and up due to changes in the daycare. In this position, I learned to care for multiple children at once doing diaper changes, overseeing nap time, and providing engaging activities, such as book reading, crafts, and other age appropriate activities. Along with facilitating a safe and engaging environment, I kept clear and open communication with all of the parents/ guardians of each child in my care. Before working in childcare, I obtained my bachelors degree in music education and taught elementary music for 14 years. In total, I have almost twenty years of experience interacting with children and creating safe, nurturing , engaging and fun environments. Some of those experiences have been paid and some were volunteer. In addition to volunteering in my church’s childrens church, I also served as a youth leader for over ten years. I truly love working with children of all ages, and with my background in music education, I love to bring interactive experiences, including music, games, movement, and adventure to every role that I am in. I would love the opportunity to serve your family. AVAILABILITY: I am currently available during the morning and evenings throughout the week.

Laceye was absolutely amazing! My husband and I had a business out of town. We decided to bring our baby with us because she is only 2 months old. Our original sitter canceled on us while we were at the airport and Laceye came to our rescue! It was a super last minute this but she did amazing with our daughter. As a first time momma I really appreciated the picture updates. When we come back Laceye will definitely be my first option to babysit!

Hello! My name is Lyle and I can't wait to meet you! I have nannied young infants as early as 3 months and have worked as a preschool teacher for ages 2-4 years. My primary form of work is in dance and yoga so I have a big love of movement and the arts! When babysitting I enjoy taking children outdoors to run around, creating indoor crafts, as well as homework help and more. I see myself as more than just a “sitter” but a true lending hand in the upbringing of your children, so please feel free to ask me as many questions as you wish. *I also have experience watching children with T1 and other physical/mental specialties.

Lyle was extremely responsive, professional, punctual, and our daughter had a great time with her! However, her rates are a little too high for us to use as consistently as we’d like.

Hi! My name is Preyonna, but most people call me Pre. I’ve been working with children for over 6 years, and caring for kids isn’t just something I do, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. I started out babysitting family members and neighbors in Chicago, then went on to become a lead teacher in a licensed daycare here in Nashville. As a lead 2’s teacher, I managed classrooms of up to 7 children, created daily routines and curriculum, supported potty training, and built strong relationships with parents through consistent, thoughtful communication. Many of those families trusted me beyond the classroom and continued working with me for babysitting even after I moved on. I’m also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), certified since 2022. Through that work, I’ve supported children of all ages, including nonverbal children and preteens, using tools like speech devices, sign language, and behavior strategies that promote real, lasting progress. I naturally bring patience, structure, and creativity into everything I do, whether that’s helping a child communicate, navigate big emotions, or just feel confident and understood. Outside of my professional experience, I’m also a mom to a toddler, which has added a whole new layer of understanding, patience, and care to the way I show up for families. I’ve built long-term relationships with many families through daycare connections, Sittercity, and referrals. I’ve been trusted in all kinds of environments, from caring for children in their homes to assisting families while they travel, including staying with children in hotels and taking them out for activities like swimming or skating. I love engaging kids through imaginative play, arts and crafts, outdoor time, and learning-based activities. I bring a balance of structure and fun. Your child will feel safe, supported, and encouraged, but they’ll also genuinely enjoy their time with me.

Pre exceeded all of our expectations, and her communication and reliability were truly top-notch. From the initial booking process to the moment she left, she kept us informed and reassured every step of the way. During her time with the kids, she provided updates that gave us complete peace of mind—whether it was a quick text to let us know bedtime went smoothly or a picture of the kids happily playing. She was punctual, prepared, and completely dependable. We never had to worry about whether she’d show up on time or if she’d follow through with our requests—she handled everything flawlessly.

Hello there! I'm Nélida or Nely for short, and I've been on this wonderful journey for a whopping 16 years, caring for kids aged 3 and up. It's not just a job for me; it's a passion. My journey began when I started babysitting, and over the years, I've honed my skills and grown with every child I've had the pleasure of looking after. Whether they were energetic toddlers or curious preteens, I've been there every step of the way, helping them learn, play, and grow. To make sure I'm well-equipped for the job, I've also invested in training and certifications. I'm proud to hold certifications in First Aid and CPR for infants and children, putting safety at the forefront of my caregiving. Throughout my 16 years of experience, I've had the privilege of working with diverse families, each with their unique dynamics and requirements. This journey has been a rich tapestry of learning and adapting, and it's made me a versatile and understanding caregiver. I believe that every child is special and deserves a caring and respectful environment to thrive. My goal is to create that environment, where kids can explore, learn, and enjoy their childhood to the fullest. I'm genuinely excited about the opportunity to be part of your family's childcare journey, bringing my 16 years of experience and a whole lot of enthusiasm to the table.
