For the past three summers, I’ve worked as a camp counselor for both overnight and day camps, and I’ve been babysitting since I was 11. Growing up, I absolutely loved hanging out with my babysitters and camp counselors, and those memories are still some of my favorites. I love doing just about any activity with children, structured or not, such as games, crafts, or sports. With early childcare coursework, First Aid and CPR certifications, and four years of hands-on childcare experience, I’m comfortable caring for up to four children, from infants to preteens. I also have experience working with neurodivergent children in both school and summer camp settings, and I understand that they are individuals who may require unique approaches, patience, and support to help them thrive. Hello everyone! I grew up watching my younger brothers and all the neighborhood kids during the summer. As I got older, I engaged in my local YMCA and other summer camps as a lifeguard and camp counselor along with babysitting for church family’s.Recently I worked a season teaching younger kids (3-9) how to ski and navigate the mountain. I also assisted in organizing the kids' program at a guests ranch for two years. I am CPR and wilderness first aid certified. Although my lifeguard certification is expired, I am comfortable around water and helping kids building confidence in the water! I am attending CSCC this fall for agribusiness. I got married in October 2025 and enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, making crafts and baking ( mostly sweet treats and bread). I am pretty open to most things and think kids should just be kids as long as they should be.

Hello! My name is Katy and to be able to watch your young ones would be a fun and exciting adventure. I’m a prior Air Force Military Police Officer for almost 14 yrs. I got out of the military when I had my daughter. I was a stay at home mom until my children could attend school, roughly 4 yrs. Worked as a Preschool TA with the Headstart Program. Switched to a Nursery Childcare Provider at a local Daycare so I could be with the babies. I missed being around them. I love seeing a child learn new things and figure out new skills. Especially with babies. It’s amazing to see them learn something for the first time. I can’t help but to get excited for and with them. LOVED my job and kiddos! unfortunately I went through a long and nasty divorce. I ended up having to work two different Factory Jobs. In order to achieve a higher income and support my family. My heart and soul wasn’t in it. I’ve missed working with the little ones and now looking to do so again.
