I believe in encouraging children from a young age to learn. So I read books to babies, work on grasping objects, practice sitting, and work on learning letters and numbers as soon as a baby seems ready. It depends on the child on how soon certain things can be introduced. I watch children's reactions and activities closely to see what they may or may not be ready to have introduced. I love to sing and dance with little children teaching them new movements. Introducing art and water play is usually fun for children. I think nap times are important and am usually able to get a child down without to much fuss. Going to the park can be fun for babies/children, playing games is always fun (board games, playing ball, etc). Safety is always important, so my medical training is helpful in knowing how to care for children. I have worked in the medical field with children, and have education in child psychology. I am also CPR and First Aid certified (Baby, Child, and Adult). I am university educated in Biology/Psychology.
