I am a retired pediatric nurse of 38 years wh retired in 2011. I still hold my license and keep up with new studies of health for infants and children. I have specialized care in special needs kids with traches, tube feeding and respiratory issues. I love and miss taking care of the babies from birth to teenagers. I was a nurse at Fort Hood in a pediatric clinic here and ran several clinics at SAFB in Wichita Falls Tx. I have references. I would treat your baby just as if they were my own. I have had a back ground check done with my nursing renewal.

I love being a sitter because working with kids is something I genuinely enjoy and have a real passion for. I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment for them and being a positive presence in their lives, especially knowing how important it is to have the right people around during key developmental stages. I have been working with children for several years, starting with babysitting in high school where I cared for multiple families, including one for four years. I also worked as a Girl Scout camp counselor, led activities for elementary-aged kids, and later worked at a daycare during college breaks with children ranging from 6 months to 8 years old, primarily early preschoolers. Most recently, I’ve started substitute teaching in elementary schools, helping manage classrooms and support students throughout the day. Hello families! My name is Raegene but everyone calls me Rae Rae. I have been babysitting since I was 10 years old. Being that young back then, making a couple dollars an hour was like hitting the lottery and all I had to do was play with kids. As I got older I realized how much I enjoy working with kids and having a helping hand with building their foundation for life.
