Hi! I love working with children and creating a safe, fun, and structured environment for them to grow. I have experience caring for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-aged kids, and I enjoy helping with playtime, learning activities, and homework support. I’m reliable, patient, and great at keeping kids engaged with age-appropriate routines. I can also prepare simple and healthy meals and help with school drop-offs or activities since I have my own reliable car. I truly enjoy being someone kids can feel comfortable with and parents can trust. I’d love the opportunity to support your family!

Hi! I'm Lorrie, and I’m so excited to connect with families looking for a dependable, caring, and experienced babysitter. Why I Love Babysitting: Babysitting has always been something I truly enjoy. I love being part of a child’s world—seeing their creativity, supporting their growth, and being someone they can feel safe and comfortable around. Every child is different, and I take pride in adapting to their unique personalities and needs. Being able to make a positive impact, even in small ways, is what keeps me passionate about childcare. My Experience: I have several years of hands-on experience with children ranging from toddlers to pre-teens. My babysitting journey began professionally in my senior year of high school, where I cared for my teachers’ kindergarten-aged twin boys during their date nights. In college, I cared for a toddler while his mom worked remotely, which gave me great experience supporting younger children’s routines while keeping a peaceful environment for working parents. I’ve also worked long-term with a boy from age 9 until he turned 13, helping him through different stages of school and activities. In addition, I cared for twins and helped with their morning routine, prepping them for the day, and driving them to school and occasional school events. I also have experience with sibling pairs (both a brother and sister), babysitting for them several times a week. My responsibilities included school pickups and drop-offs, driving them to extracurriculars, and ensuring they stayed on track with their routines. Skills & Training: Experienced with toddlers, school-aged kids, and pre-teens Comfortable managing multiple children, including twins and siblings Reliable with transportation: school drop-offs, pickups, and activity driving Strong communication with parents and ability to follow household routines Patient, attentive, and safety-focused Capable with light meal prep, homework help, and maintaining a tidy, calm environment My Goal as a Sitter: I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and fun space for kids while giving parents peace of mind. Whether we’re doing crafts, going outside to play, reading, or working through routines, I’m always focused on making sure your child feels supported and cared for.

I’ve always loved caring for kids since I was little myself. Growing up I looked after my siblings as well. Everyone that I know will say I’m a nurturing and caring person almost mother like. Kids are the light of my life and I can’t wait to have my own one day. I’ve been a teachers aid when I was in high school for about 2 years. Just recently I worked at a day care, MET head start, for over a year and I absolutely loved every experience I had there. Working at MET Head Start I was paid for looking after 17 toddlers in a classroom with one other teacher. I cleaned up after the kids, whether it was after mealtimes, or playtime, or just a random mess because we all know kids make many messes a day. Especially 17 of them. Before I became a teacher there I was a relief worker. I would substitute a teacher that was absent or maintained the building cleanliness. I can clean just about anything in a house or simple building. Being a relief worker I also took a part in the kitchen so I can also prepare meals and snacks. If there is a backyard or a park nearby I’m great with playing outside and giving them the chance to have physical activity. Whether that’s hide and seek, or pretending to be a zombie, really just anything. My experience working with kids has been a great opportunity for me. And I’d love to continue putting smiles on kids faces.

I love being a babysitter because, I have found in my recent experience that kids of all ages tend to love me and/or listen to me. I have great communication skills, I am trustworthy to all extents, and I have my CPR certification. My experience includes babysitting for friends, and family members, I have done this for 4 years at most. I am young, so I understand the value of kid's emotions these days, but I am also responsible, and respectful of parents' wishes. I am comfortable with all types of different personalities that could possibly be seen, and I am comfortable with any ages. Please call or text for more, in detailed information!
