It’s rewarding to know that parents can trust me to care for their children and that I can make a positive impact on their day. What experience do you have? I have experience caring for children of different ages, from toddlers to elementary school kids, through both family and community programs. I’ve helped supervise group activities, assist with homework, and organize fun, structured play. I’ve also worked in educational and recreation settings like dance and gymnastics classes, where I learned how to manage groups, keep kids engaged, and maintain a safe, encouraging atmosphere. What skills and training do you have? I’m skilled in communication, patience, and organization, and I’m trained in child safety and first aid. My background in kinesiology and bilingual education has also given me a strong understanding of child development, movement, and positive behavior strategies. I am currently studying Criminal Justice at STC and have two years of experience as a babysitter, maybe a little more. I currently only work on Saturdays, caring for two girls, but I am available to babysit on weekends, weekdays, and evenings. I’m currently a part time college student studying to become a pediatric nurse! I worked at a daycare where I gained experience in childcare ages 0-14. I have had first aid and CPR training several times and I’m also a certified medical assistant and phlebotomy technician, so I also have no problem with any sort of sick care!
