Hi, I’m Kate! A bilingual babysitter from San Antonio, with several years experience caring for children of all ages, including infants and kids with special needs. I’m currently studying to become a nurse at San Antonio College, after graduating high school early. My passion for caregiving runs deep. I know how difficult it can be to leave your kiddos in the care of someone else, so I do my best to create an environment where everyone feels safe, supported, and respected. My background working with special needs kiddos has taught me to be patient, empathetic, attentive, and adaptable–qualities I bring to every family I work with. I also have hands-on experience as a caregiver for a medically complex patient, so I understand the importance of trust and clear communication. I love engaging with kids through hands-on activities such as playing and learning, and tend to limit screen time unless otherwise requested by parents. My goal is always to meet your family’s unique needs and ensure your kiddos are safe, happy, and well cared for. My rate doesn’t increase by number of children unless there are more than 3, then I go up by $5 an hour, per kiddo. I believe childcare shouldn’t break the bank to ensure your kids are safe and cared for while you get things done. Thank you so much for considering my application, and I hope to be in contact with you soon!

Hi! I’ve been watching children of varying ages the last seven years, helped during covid and online learning, transported kids from school to home, helped with basic household cleaning and organizing, meal prepped, got the children ready for school or planned activities, became CPR, first aid and AED certified and spent time at daycares learning the more school age appropriate lessons and how to care for multiple kids at one time. I have reliable transportation, no pet allergies or restrictions and ready to meet some new kids and have some fun! Thank you!

Hi! My name is Genesis and I have 5+ years of experience working with kids from ages 1 to 11 and older. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and love creating a fun and safe space for the kids I care for. I’ve worked at multiple summer and day camps, and I was also a preschool teacher assistant. Hello! My name is Mary, and I am seeking assignments with daytime hours ranging from 11am-6pm, with a strong preference for after school care, from 2-6 I also do date night sitting, with flexible hours, and I am available on short notice in many cases. I am the mother of 3 grown children, and 3 grandchildren, and one stepgranddaughter, and have current CPR and first aid certifications. I have 2 granddaughters, ages 14and 15, who currently live in Austin, whom I cared for frequently as newborns, and still care for from time to time. I genuinely love working with children! I am patient, trustworthy, and attentive, as well as reliable, I make every effort to be consistent in carrying out the parent's wishes regarding established routines and rules. My 33 year old son, who resides in Idaho, has autism, so I am also experienced with special needs, as well. I am a lifelong pet owner, and I welcome working in a household with fur babies! Please feel free to read my testimonials that are posted in the ratings and review section. I'm quite proud of them! Thank you for your consideration! Sincerely, Mary

I was very skeptical about hiring someone whom I have never met before to be my daughter's babysitter. However, after one phone conversation, my husband and I decided to hire Mary. She has been taking care of our daughter for a month now and we are very happy and satisfied with her services. I highly recommend her and will continue to use her.

Karie has been with us now for 10 months or so, since my son was 4 months old. She has taught our little boy so much, from helping him learn to crawl to now learning sign and Spanish. Our son loves Karie so much, he’s not upset at all when we have to go to work because he knows he will be having fun with her all day. She makes him great food for his meals, bathes him, even takes care of small chores for us when she has extra time. We love her and we look forward to having her around for a long time!

Hi! I’m excited to get to know you and your family. I have 5 years of experience working with children of all ages. I tutored and volunteered in after-school programs while in college. Then later on taught elementary to middle school students abroad. I’m CPR/First-aid certified and hold 21 professional development credits required by the state for childcare professionals. Hi! I’m Marian, and I’ve been caring for children since I was 10 and am the oldest sibling in my family. Several years of caring for different children has taught me patience, responsibility, creativity, and how to stay calm under pressure. On top of paid childcare I have several years of experience of volunteering with childcare programs and working with several children at once from early infancy through the preteen years. I also have experience supporting children with special needs with patience, care, and encouragement. I’m first aid trained, reliable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I love creating a safe, positive environment where kids can learn, play, and feel supported. I’m also comfortable with cooking, cleaning, pet care, and taking kids on outings if that’s what is needed from me.

Marian was very prompt at communicating, arrived on time, and was able to handle everything asked of her. We had two kids, a 6 year old boy and a 3 year old girl, that she was watching for us. No issues between her or the kids they got along fine. Would be more than happy to use her again if needed. I was very pleased with how well everything turned out as finding someone reliable and competent isn’t always easy but Marian was absolutely both.

I have worked with children for 17+years. I have worked with newborns up to age 16 as a nanny and as a sitter, worked in a few medical areas as well, as a daycare teacher, and as a preschool teacher (for a short time). My experience in childcare consists of bottle feeding newborns with either breast milk or formula, sleep training babies, making baby food or food for older children, diapering, art projects, going to parks and appointments, taking to school, going for walks, discipline when needed, mediate, cleaning up the space if children are too young to do so, reading to children, nap times, etc . I believe in encouraging children from a young age to learn. So I read books to babies, work on grasping objects, practice sitting, and work on learning letters and numbers as soon as a baby seems ready. It depends on the child on how soon certain things can be introduced. I watch children's reactions and activities closely to see what they may or may not be ready to have introduced. I love to sing and dance with little children teaching them new movements. Introducing art and water play is usually fun for children. I think nap times are important and am usually able to get a child down without to much fuss. Going to the park can be fun for babies/children, playing games is always fun (board games, playing ball, etc). Safety is always important, so my medical training is helpful in knowing how to care for children. I have worked in the medical field with children, and have education in child psychology. I am also CPR and First Aid certified (Baby, Child, and Adult). I am university educated in Biology/Psychology. I have experience working with children on an individual setting, group, and school settings. If you are looking for a nanny or sitter for your child I hope you will reach out to me. Thank you, Manoucheca

Hi! My name is Frida (she/her). I care deeply for the dignity of children and as an advocate for them, I have always met them where they are. Throughout my extensive work with children of all ages, as well as through my education, I've learned the crucial knowledge of their developmental stages- in neurotypical and neurodivergent spectrums. I have a Master's of Social Work because I am passionate about providing everything that babies, children and adolescents require to grow into self efficacious, loving, and motivated adults. I plan to work with children and adolescents in the future, in the realm of mental health. Throughout my education I was a babysitter and a long-term nanny. I have also worked with students in schools, tutoring young readers and later, throughout my internships, facilitating socio-emotional learning to youth groups and individuals. Additionally, I have done a lot of this work in both English and in Spanish. I am currently looking for long-term work while I prepare for a licensure exam, to later launch my career as a social worker. I can share my resume/references and answer any questions you may have. Thank you very much for your time !
