Hello my name is Kamryn Shoffstall, I am 26 years old and have 5 years experience working professionally within childcare facilities and 8 years babysitting. I also have nanny experience within my own home while living upon a military base and out of my current home for a year and a half. I have had extensive background checks and maintain a clean driving record. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have my own transportation and can pick up and drop off if needed. I know how hard it can be to find trustworthy people to care for your children, I am here to help you out! I know this is different but I prefer doing care out of my own home as my home is set up to accommodate more children including my own. I have a 4 year old girl and 11 month old girl. We have a kid friendly home with toys and activities for all age ranges. We do have stairs but have baby gates at top and bottom. Our upstairs is a loft like area that is full of toys, a whiteboard and learning posters. There is also a bathroom and bedroom that is not regularly used. This room could be used for naps or rest time. We have baby locked cabinets in the kitchen and a potty seat for small children.

I became a caregiver because of the big immediate family I am apart of ( I am the 7th of 11 children). No matter what field I go into I always find my way back to working with children. I truly believe making a positive impact starts with the young. I am passionate about any job I take upon, and I will work extra hard to make my clients feel safe and happy. Hello, I am CPR certified and have taken an EMT course which has educated me in first aid and EMT skills such as being able to handle tough situations, knowing when something is life-threatening, and having common knowledge about real life medical situations. Along with my first aid background I have worked with children as a private nanny and I have experience working in daycares with newborns to 4 years of age and in camp settings working with school age children. I have plenty experience in the field of children know matter what age or stage your child is approaching. I am a very warm hearted energetic person who enjoys helping others! I had been a volunteer at St. David’s Hospital, NAMC 2017-2023 at the main entrance front registration desk. I was also a part time nanny for a baby boy from July 2022-November 2022 until he reached eight months when he entered daycare. January -March 2023 I was helping many families with one -time temporary nanny jobs. April-December 2023 I nannied for a two year old boy and a four year old girl. In January-July 2024 my clientele kept me very busy with kids of all ages. August-December 2024 I nannied a four month old until he started daycare in 2025. Since January 2025, I have been nannying for a family with a four month old until she starts daycare in September 2025. Now that my kids are in college, I have a flexible schedule and love to spend time with the young ones.

I have been sitting for them ever since. They have four kids. A 12 year old girl, an 8 year old boy, 10 year old boy, and 4 year old boy. They also have a dog I look after. The kids are wonderful!  I play different games with the kids, encourage them to go on walks or we walk to different trails. I get them fed and to bed. I also help them with homework if there is a need. This has been one of my greatest babysitting experiences. The kids and parents are so sweet. My parents have even become friends with the Dirobo’s over the years.             June ’03-August ‘06            Judge Ditta’s Family For the Ditta family, I babysat 3 girls on a very regular basis, before I left Houston for college. The children were 2, 4, and 6 years old whenever I first babysat them. I helped the kids understand their homework, took them to dance practice, prepared their meals, cleaned up around the house, and put them to bed. I had a blast playing games, house, dancing around, swimming, and doing arts and crafts with the girls.
