My name is Kat Cordry and I am a 23 year old student attending college. I am studying to be a writer. I have recently had to leave my job as a server because of an injury. I am looking to get back into babysitting while I attend school. I babysat when I was a teenager and really miss it. I enjoy kids and would love to be given the oppourtunity to care for them again. My last final is on May 9th, and I will be looking to start then. I am willing to do a background check, but the site is down and will not let me run one as of now. When it comes up again I will run one.
The ages I feel most comfortable with are 3 and up. I am willing to keep the house picked up, prepare meals, and take the children to activities.
I usually like to have plenty of time to play outside set aside for the kids. We can go on nature walks, play with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, or even have a picnic for lunch. Summer time is approaching, so time spent indoors is also a good time to get to know the kids and what kind of games or toys they prefer to play with. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, doing some kind of fun cooking activity, or even making tents and playing in them. My mind can be rather creative and I would love to include your kids to be creative as well! I do believe in discipline and naps. I prefer to use timeout and explain to the child why they were in timeout.
