I have been a babysitter for 12yr. 10yrs in nanny. 15years in a childcare facility. I have own my a childcare home through the State of Tx. I’m a Mother of 2 adult and also a grandmother of 6 lil one’s. I have always work with children. I started working with children when I was 18yrs old and from there I started working in childcare facilities when I was 22yrs old because I became a mother. And then I moved to Texas at age 32 and I got into childcare from watching kids for parents and they asked me every weekend and then it went from there. Then I started with getting my certificates to run my own daycare home. That was one of the Best feelings I could have done for myself. I started working for family’s asking why not run your Own childcare from home and I did that and never looked back.I have registered with the state of Texas and I ran my daycare out of my home. And I was registered to keep 12 kids and I never looked back because kids became my biggest Dream that I started keeping my own grandchildren and teaching the to do the things that they would need to start getting ready for school, potty training, how to eat with silverware drink out of a cup clean up behind themselves sharing and playing with other kids alphabet numbers shapes colors month of the year teaching them with transportation looks like letting them know their fruits, vegetables, and how to tie their shoes.

I love to be active and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I value & enjoy mentorship with youth and was able to mentor through my previous church in TN for 6 years before relocating to TX. I now do some mentorship professionally within my role as a case management site coordinator in the public school system. Connecting with children, seeing them mature and knowing that I had a small yet significant impact in their lives is so rewarding. I have worked in a professional setting with school aged children for over 6 years and I have completed over 80+ hours of formal training throughout my professional career in addition to my degree program in Sociology and Family Studies. I am also a strong swimmer and love to be in the water. My minimum rate for multiple children is $25/hr given my extensive experience and mature age. I was previously CPR/First Aid certified for infants to adults but my certication has lapsed due to my inactive status in caring for children. I will be on my summer break after the first weekend in June until late July. I also have my 2.5 year old daughter who I would love to bring with me for a potential playmate if the circumstances are right and if all parties are comfortable. However, this isn't necessarily a requirement for me and, depending on the days that I'm needed, I can secure alternative care.
