My name is Ana Gildea and I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old for my siblings, neighbors, and friends. I enjoy helping children learn, play, and feel safe while their parents are away. Whether it’s arts and crafts, outdoor games, storytime, or homework help, I love to help a child thrive however I can. I am very reliable, punctual, and I respond quickly when messaged. I’m happy to help with light meal prep, bedtime routines, or tidying up after play. Looking forward to meeting your family!

Hello! My name is Lisa Williams, I am a college graduate who is between jobs at the moment and hoping to subsidize my income by doing something I love! I started babysitting at the age of 10 when I was living in Massachusetts and continued doing so all through high school and college here in Utah. I was the Lead Infant Teacher at Mother’s Helper Childcare Center from 2018-2019, worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with children on the spectrum from 2019-2021, and was briefly employed as a paraprofessional at a school for students with serious medical conditions. I enjoy working with children of all ages but my favorite age group would be infants up until 5 or 6. Children develop so quickly and learn so much during that time that it’s almost impossible to not be in awe of them. Thank you so much for looking at my profile and considering me! Even if I’m not the right fit for you, I wish you the best and hope you find the perfect candidate for your family. -Lisa

I love being a babysitter because I truly enjoy spending time with kids and helping them learn, grow, and have fun. I’ve babysat for families, friends, and neighbors, caring for children of different ages and handling things like meal prep, bedtime, homework help, and fun activities. I’m also comfortable watching multiple kids at once and keeping things organized and positive. I’m trained in CPR and basic first aid, and I always make safety my top priority. I’m responsible, and creative, and I take pride in making sure both kids and parents feel comfortable and confident when I’m around.

Growing up, my mother worked professionally as the Director of an esteemed child development center near the U of U. This meant that from a young age I spent much of my after-school free time at my mom's work, playing with the kids and helping teachers in their classrooms. At 12, I started babysitting for a handful of families and have continued to care for those children, as well as some new families, as they've grown older. Not only have they entrusted me with their children, but on many occasions I have cared for their houses and pets in times of need. It's been a joy getting to know these children and their parents, and an honor to be a part of their journey so far. I began volunteering part-time at a child development center at 14 and started formally working there when I turned 16. I have now worked there a total of 5 years, moving to full-time during summers and year-round after high school. I've worked predominately with infants and toddlers, but spent significant time with all ages. In September of 2020 the program expanded to include school age kids as school moved online. This provided me the opportunity to work with kindergarteners through fifth-graders, navigating zoom meetings, homework, and social connections in the midst of the pandemic. My time at this center has given me a well-rounded understanding of children at all developmental stages. On a personal level, I take pride in my loyalty, integrity, communication skills, and work ethic. High school gave me the space to grow as a leader. I loved being a part of my school's Student Government, where I worked with teachers as a student voice for my class, and the National Honor Society, which held me to a high academic standard and led me to a wider range of community service opportunities. Performing arts, primarily musical theatre, have been an integral part of my life, including mentoring young performers in some youth productions. Other hobbies of mine include photography, crafting, indoor cycling, hiking, and ukulele. A lifetime surrounded by child development professionals taught me to nurture children of all ages. It is always a priority for me to cultivate trust with the children I care for and their families, as I've experienced that trust is a necessity in all healthy, successful relationships. I love helping kids understand the world around them and I think it's vitally important to foster their natural curiosity, using meaningful, hands-on experiences to help them learn.
