In the past, I have been a nursery school teacher, provided childcare in my own home, was co-director of an elementary age after school program and summer day camp, and I was Christian Education Director at two churches, teaching children of all ages and multi-age groups. I homeschooled my two boys for 10 years. Currently, I am a professional pastel artist, and have taught pastel art classes to elementary age children. My educational background is an MA In Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, with a special emphasis on counseling with children. I am in good heath and am energetic. My name is Ellie Aiello and I am a current English teacher with a Master’s degree in education for grades 6-12. I have been babysitting intermittently for over four years with a two year break for part of college. In my experience I have cared for many ages of children from infants up to 12/13 year olds, with the most children I have cared for at one time being 4. I previously worked at a before and after school daycare for groups of children where I cared for children ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade. In all cases I have worked with children with a variety of needs and requirements as well. Along with years of babysitting on and off, throughout my college and teaching career I have worked with students from 6th grade (11/12) up to 12th (17/18) in both a tutoring and teaching capacity. My general availability is for the remaining summer break (until early August) with most other availability being on the weekend. I've always had a passion for little ones. On the weekends I am usually volunteering at my local cafe nursery, or just spending time with my little sister. I have previously taken the American Red Cross babysitting course, and I am also CPR certified. I have extensive experience in childcare, as I have worked in numerous daycares, and have also worked as a teachers aide at a private school.

My past experiences with childcare include the summer I was a sleep-away camp counselor in Michigan and taught children ages 8-16 how to sail, tie-dye, and shoot black and white photography! I have been sitting/nannying for the past year now (paid) I transitioned from working in restaurants to sitting as I have always had a love for kiddos being the oldest of three there were always other littles around, and it ended up fitting better with my schedule and degree program! I am currently working on my degree in behavioral science, with a minor in early childhood development. I currently work with ages 0-9, and I have loved each experience!
