They were reassigned to another state, and moved in June. They graciously posted a letter of reference on this sire. After they left, I accepted a part time position over the summer, and have recently decided to continue working with this family. For personal reasons, I felt the need to work less hours, and be closer to home and family. My availability will now be updated for occasional nights and weekends. I am an experienced childcare provider and have previously worked long term, and short, for a variety of families. I have a fun sense of humor. I am honest, flexible, responsible, and have an excellent work ethic.  I seldom, if ever, miss work. I taught school for eighteen years. I have always cared for children/senior citizens nights, weekends, and long term. I have also stayed with children overnight, for their families to go on work trips or a weekend away. Twelve years ago, I earned a Master’s degree in Education and have over seven years of teaching experience in public education at both the high school and middle school levels. In my early years of motherhood, I operated in-home daycares for infants to pre-school aged children. I have taught and assisted many times in church Sunday School classes (nursery to high school) and have led and assisted with Vacation Bible School (nursery to high school). I have also led and assisted with youth groups and activities to include attending week-long summer camps and weekend retreats. I’m a divorcee of a retired serviceman. Needless to say, I have a genuine love for children of all ages and enjoy teaching and nurturing them; helping each one grow and learn to be the unique person they are created to be.
