Hi there! My name is Tamar and I'm currently a student at Liberty University for nursing. I have over 7 years of experience and I'm glad to provide references! I have multiple nephews and nieces, several years of babysitting and nannying, teaching experience in my church's children's ministry, and I coordinated a non-profit to increase children's literacy for single moms with young kids. I'm super flexible and I'd love to chat about how I can help you!

As a mom of 4 girls, I know how important it is to make sure that your child or children are in a safe and welcoming environment. I have been providing child care since I was an early adolescent girl starting off as a neighborhood and family babysitter. When I was 16 I started working at a licensed daycare center and throughout my adulthood I’ve worked at other ones as well. Outside of traditional babysitting and working at a daycare center, I also was a nanny my duties included facilitating homeschooling lessons, cooking/meal planning, cleaning, as well as taking the children on field trips to many local community settings. Academically, I have a bachelor’s degree in Community and Human Services and am in the process of obtaining a master’s degree from Liberty University, I did however take some time off due to me having a newborn baby. My most recent employment was at a public middle school in my former school as a paraprofessional and my duties were focused on working with students that had IEPs. I have had other experiences working with individuals that had an array of different abilities/limitations at a OPWDD agency. I was also a teacher assistant for a school specifically for students that were diagnosed with autism. Children should be able to feel supported and encouraged to learn in whatever way is best for them. My biggest worry when it comes to my own children is that when they are not with me, is their physical safety of course as well as mental security, that their thoughts and emotions are validated. And I’m mindful of that with it comes to other children as well. Each stage of the childhood phase is precious, from the moment a baby is first born and is desiring to be held and fed to the moment in which they are graduating high school and are going towards adulthood. We as parents who absolutely love our children and want the very best for them know that it’s a “matter of fact” when it comes to who we allow our children to be around. One fact is there is no other decision that we will make in this time of their lives that will be more important than who we trust with them. One vital component is that person needs to be patient and understanding, through my many years of both personal and professional experiences, I’ve learned to be that. Another one is being able to promote a secure and fun environment, and that is what your children will have with me!

I regularly babysit for babies at my church, I've nannied for three children, which included running errands, cleaning, helping with homework, and driving them to school/activities. I have taught swim lessons for two years, and also have been a gymnastics instructor throughout high school. I have my own car, a clean record, very clean, and organized. Thank you!

I am a current college student looking for an enjoyable job babysitting! I am fairly new to it, and have babysat for neighbors and close friends, and recently worked at a daycare with children from preschool age to 6th grade. I am CPR and First-Aid certified, and I look forward to creating a fun and supportive environment. Availability depends on my college course schedule, but I am willing to be flexible!

I love working with kids because they bring a unique sense of joy and curiosity to every interaction. Their boundless energy and imaginative perspectives remind me of the importance of play and creativity in our lives. I find it incredibly rewarding to help them learn and grow, whether it's through teaching them new concepts or simply being there to support them in their challenges. I’ve been in the child care industry for 4 years now so I have set skills that are wonderful such as ensuring a safe environment, problem solving, being able to communicate effectively with others. I also provide structure and guidance for consistent behavioral expectations.Additionally, I am also CPR and First Aid certified, which gives me the confidence to handle emergencies if they arise. I provide structure and guidance for consistent behavioral expectations, creating a nurturing environment for the kids. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to learn more or have any questions!

My name is Bella I’m a freshman in college but my junior and senior year of highschool I took child development and teachers for tomorrow where we did have to care for children independently. I have never been paid for babysitting but I have babysat before I’m very good at problem solving especially when it comes to children the simplest way Atleast how I’ve always seen it listen to how they feel and help them choose the right decision on their own.
