I have been working with infants and children for the last 10 years and I also have three children of my own. I have my Associate's degree in Psychology and I am continuing my education in hopes to become an Adolescent Clinical Therapist. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified. I love working with kids on a personal level by learning their personality. I use a hands-on approach to gain the trust of both parent and child. Providing childcare isn't just a job, it's accepting to play a large role in a child's life and help guide them as they grow and develop. I love fun and smiles but I also like to promote educational activities appropriate to the child's age (for example going over the alphabet or doing puzzles with a toddler, or practicing tummy time with an infant!) I strive to become not only their babysitter, but one of their best friends. I have a genuine love and passion for kids and I have realized this is my life's calling. I think that providing childcare would be the best job for me while I am continuing my education because it's doing what I love, working in the direction I plan to go with my career and also allows me to keep my son with me while I work, which gives him the opportunity to interact with other children. I have excellent writing and verbal skills, my specialty is drawing and arts & crafts, skilled hider, below average seeker, animal lover, excellent board game player, excellent story time reader and swing pusher, great at cuddling and I know the tickle monster very well, excellent boo-boo kisser, and I may not be the best singer or dancer but that doesn't stop me from putting on a show. I don't mind embarrassing myself for a laugh (well for the kids at least)! It's so easy to make them smile and I absolutely love doing it.

I’m a dedicated and nurturing caregiver with a strong passion for working with infants. I focus on creating a safe, comforting environment where babies can grow, develop, and feel secure. Certified in First Aid and CPR, I prioritize their safety at all times. I also build strong relationships with both the infants and their families, offering individualized care that meets each child’s needs. My goal is to provide a calm and loving atmosphere where they feel supported and cherished. As my native language is Spanish, I can introduce babies to the language early on, which is a wonderful added benefit for families interested in bilingual exposure.

Hello Kristin: My name is Le Anna Ewell and I know I am a good fit for your family. I am currently a healthcare aide for a young man with cerebral palsy and a multi-classroom teacher at a childcare center. I have been in childcare for over 10 years, more if we consider childhood babysitting. I have an associates in Teacher Specialization, a certificate in CPR/First Aide, certifications in Medication Administration, and several hours of development training for each age group. I started to get into childcare simply because I found it came easy for me at a young age. Once I got older and started my education I realized that my techniques and nurturing characteristics were part of the growth and education process for children's development. I've been hooked since my first early childhood development course!

Hi! I’m Zoe, a graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology with extensive experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I currently work in a pediatric therapy center, supporting kids from toddlers through teens in communication, behavior, and daily routines. I also babysat a child with autism for three years, helping with school pick-ups, meals, and structured after-school activities. In addition to my clinical experience, I’ve worked as a cheerleading camp coach, where I led groups of young children, taught routines, and kept activities fun, positive, and safe. I’m reliable, patient, and confident managing a variety of needs. I’d love to support your family in a safe, caring, and engaging way!

Hi! My name is Kiersten, and I’m 20 years old. I’m currently in my first semester of a Sonography program. I’ve always loved working with kids — I grew up helping care for my three younger sisters, and by the time I was 14, I was watching my youngest sister full-time when she was just a year old. I’m CPR and BLS certified, and I’m happy to help with homework, light meals, and keeping kids engaged with fun activities. I especially love arts and crafts and finding creative ways to keep little ones entertained and learning. I also have my own reliable car, so I’m able to help with school pick-ups, drop-offs, or take kids out for fun activities like park trips or ice cream outings. I’m also a huge animal lover! Whether your family has cats, dogs, or other pets, I’ll be more than comfortable including them in the fun. I’m responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoy being part of a child’s day — helping them feel safe, cared for, and happy while you’re away.

I absolutely love working with kids and am very good with them. I took a peer mentoring course for 3 years (from when I was 15-18 years old) where I traveled to an elementary school 3 days a week and helped out in a classroom with kids who needed extra attention. I have helped look after family members many times (ages 5 months to 7 years old). I have worked as a nanny for multiple different families over the last 5 years for children of all different ages. I am very alert and aware when watching after kids and never let them out of my sight. I love being a caregiver because kids are so fun to work with and I am still a kid at heart so I love to be active with them. However, I enjoy helping out with things like homework as well and I am very good at it because of my experience with peer mentoring. I studied biology at University of Mary Washington and I graduated with my Bachelor's in 2017. I played varsity softball at UMW as well so I am good at handling many things at once and I believe am very responsible. I also combined my love for softball and working with youth by volunteering at various softball camps for ages 5-15 for several years. I also currently assistant coach for a 14u travel softball team. Like I said, working with kids is something I really love and enjoy and finding employment opportunities where I get to work with them all the time is fantastic!

Hi! I’m Roseline, but everyone knows me as Rosie. I’m 19 (almost 20!) and I have several years of babysitting experience with friends, family, and neighbors. I’ve worked with infants, toddlers, and kids ages 5–10, but I feel especially confident caring for toddlers and school-aged children. I’m a friendly, energetic, and creative babysitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids. Whether we’re doing crafts, playing games, using our imaginations, or heading outside, I love keeping children engaged and having fun. I’m patient, organized, and calm even in hectic moments, and I always prioritize safety while making sure everyone has a great time. I can help with homework in English, math, and science, and I’m also able to cook simple, comforting meals. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, fluent in both English and Spanish, comfortable with pets, and available to drive if transportation is needed. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and positive environment for your kids — and to give parents complete peace of mind while they’re in my care.
