Arts and crafts and sensory bins are fun to do on rainy days, or not so rainy days too! I really enjoy getting to know each of the children I work with and like to come up with activities to do with them based upon their interests. I have my bachelors degree in child and family development, a graduate level certificate called the EC-SEBRIS (early childhood socio-emotional behavior regulation intervention specialist certificate), as well as my masters in child development all from San Diego State University. I have nannied and babysat for numerous families over the years including families with twins, multiples, and have done nanny shares before as well. I have had experience with down syndrome children and one that requires a feeding tube. Hi! My name is Christina. I love working with kids and have experience caring for children ages 1 to 9. I have the most hands-on experience with babies and toddlers. I was a caregiver for my twin cousins when they were 1 year old, providing about 25 hours of care per week for 8 months. They also have an elementary-aged child so I am comfortable and experienced in taking care of up to 3 children at a time. I’m currently looking for a part-time babysitting job in the mornings.
