Hello! I was an assistant teacher at a Montessori for about a year, I have nannied and babysat on and off since I was 14 (I’m 26 now). Some activities I enjoy doing with kids include playing outside, arts & crafts, yoga, playing music (I play guitar) and really anything the kids enjoy I’m happy to do with them, as long as it’s safe and parent approved. :) I currently live in VA but am planning moving to the Carlsbad area in September. I graduated from VCU with a degree in special education and psychology, and immediately after that became a nanny for several years for various children with special needs. First I worked with a child with severe Autism and auto-immune issues, and after his family moved, I began caring for twins, one of which had Cerebral Palsy and required help with all aspects of daily life. After about a year with the twins, I moved to Japan, where I taught English for 3 years with ages ranging from 6 months to 18 years of age.
