Hello! I’m new to the area and looking to get involved in the community as I get settled. I have about 10 years of experience in paid work with kids, and am an oldest sister with two younger siblings. I have always loved working with kids and decided to make working with kids and families my career. I went to college in Seattle, WA and got my BA in Psychology. After graduating I worked at Seattle Children’s hospital in the inpatient psychiatric unit, where kids who exhibited behaviors that made them a danger to themself or others stayed while being treated. I learned invaluable lessons about how to build rapport with any child, work with difficult behaviors, and special needs kids.
