We had Ayling come watch our two boys (1 and 7). She brought over an activity bag and was fun and engaging. Her communication with us was excellent the whole time and we had a wonderful evening out without having to worry. Would highly recommend!

Hello! My name is Rhonda, and I am a Virginia native with a genuine passion for caring for children and supporting families. As the oldest of six girls, nurturing others has always been a natural part of who I am. After transitioning from a career in finance, I followed my heart into childcare, and it has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life. For more than 16 years, I have had the privilege of caring for children of all ages—from newborns and infants to school-aged children—including those with special needs. Throughout my career, I have worked with private families and nanny agencies as a Professional Nanny, Household Manager, ROTA Nanny, Night Nanny, and in the role of a Newborn Care Specialist, building lasting relationships founded on trust, reliability, discretion, flexibility, and compassionate care. What I value most about being a nanny is the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting connections with the children and families I serve. Whether working in a traditional nanny role, providing overnight newborn care, or supporting families on a ROTA schedule, I strive to provide consistency, stability, and seamless care that allows children to thrive. While safety is always my highest priority, I believe children flourish when they feel loved, understood, encouraged, and supported. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and free to explore the world around them. My caregiving style is Montessori-inspired, encouraging independence, self-confidence, hands-on learning, and age-appropriate exploration. I enjoy creating engaging learning experiences through everyday activities while supporting each child’s natural curiosity, emotional well-being, and developmental milestones. Compassion and service have always been deeply rooted in my family. My parents dedicated more than 45 years to caregiving, teaching my siblings and me the importance of kindness, patience, integrity, and treating every person with dignity and respect. Those values continue to guide the care I provide every day. When I’m not caring for children, I enjoy spending quality time with my three granddaughters, reading, walking, dancing, volunteering in my community. A long-term position with a wonderful family where we can build a strong partnership based on trust, open communication, and mutual respect id my desire.

Ms. Rhonda has been an incredible support to our family. Her help with overnight care allowed me to get the rest I needed so I could show up as the best mom possible for my child. She is caring, attentive, and truly thoughtful in the way she provides care. Knowing my baby was in such capable and compassionate hands gave me complete peace of mind. I am deeply grateful for her and highly recommend her.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Carisa as our nanny. She started with our family when our baby girl was just four months old, and from the very beginning she made such a positive difference in our lives. Carisa is not only knowledgeable and experienced, but also a genuinely caring and wonderful person. She supported our daughter through so many important developmental milestones like helping with the transition to purees, encouraging tummy time, practicing sitting, and planning age-appropriate activities that supported her development. It was clear that she truly understood infant development and always approached everything with patience and care. Our baby absolutely loves Carisa, and it’s easy to see why. She brings warmth, attentiveness, and a calm presence every day. As a new mom, it meant everything to be able to return to work knowing my baby girl was in such loving and capable hands. Carisa was always punctual, extremely reliable, and consistently flexible. Always willing to stay late or come in early whenever we needed help. That level of dependability made a huge difference for our family. I wholeheartedly recommend Carisa to any family, especially new parents who are looking for someone trustworthy, knowledgeable, and deeply caring. She truly is the best person you could have caring for your baby.

Hello parents! I enjoy working with kids of all ages, and love watching them learn. I've been sitting for many families (50+) in the area for the last few years, and I also have a Masters of Education (Elem. Ed.) from George Mason. Over the past 14 years I’ve worked with children in a variety of roles, including: -- Occasional babysitting (2010-2024) - Ages 2-10 -- FCPS - Internship (3rd/5th grade) and sub teaching (2010-2013) -- Private tutoring Since I am a male sitter, I’d be a great fit for those with boys that like to build legos, conduct science experiments, and play outdoor games and sports! I also enjoy and have lots of experience babysitting younger children and toddlers, as young as 30 months. Note: I prefer to babysit for children between the ages of 2.5-10. Since I currently work full time, my schedule is limited to just occasional afternoons, evenings and weekends. I consider myself professional, caring, reliable, and fun! I have a variety of good references and all the sitter basics: [background check, transportation, non-smoking, references, etc.] Thank you for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Andrew watched our 4-year-old and 18-month-old boys, and he was absolutely fantastic. He arrived prepared with crafts, toys, board games, and plenty of creative activities to keep them engaged and entertained. He has a calm, positive demeanor, and both of our boys connected with him right away. Andrew is incredibly patient, attentive, and reliable, and he followed all of our instructions carefully, especially when it came to their bedtime routine. We felt completely at ease knowing our children were in his care. We highly recommend Andrew and would gladly hire him again.

Clifford did a wonderful job with my infant son. My mom, who is a retired nurse, was around to observe and said he did the best job out of multiple sitters we have had. Punctual, responsive, sweet and completely reliable.

I was a babysitter for my extended family and neighbors during my teenage years and as a college graduate. I continued babysitting through graduate school (for education and counseling)and into my early adult years. Even now, as an adult, I still enjoy babysitting because I love children. I have been a teacher in early childhood and elementary schools, as well as a summer camp counselor and director, for many years. As a result of my job in education, I have undergone and cleared several criminal background checks. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, and I have my own car. I enjoy doing schoolwork, participating in sports, playing games, and engaging in arts and crafts with children. I enjoy being positive, creative, and engaging with kids because they have wonderful imaginations, and I love having fun with them. I try to teach children a great deal, but I also always learn a great deal from them! It's always a win-win situation.

My kids loved Jennifer and ask for her to come back often! She not only was wonderful with the children, playing games througout the day, taking them on field trips and reading them stories. She also organized the kids bedroom without being asked! If I could give 10 stars I would!
