I have my Associate's degree in Psychology and I am continuing my education in hopes to become an Adolescent Clinical Therapist. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified. I love working with kids on a personal level by learning their personality. I use a hands-on approach to gain the trust of both parent and child. Providing childcare isn't just a job, it's accepting to play a large role in a child's life and help guide them as they grow and develop. I love fun and smiles but I also like to promote educational activities appropriate to the child's age (for example going over the alphabet or doing puzzles with a toddler, or practicing tummy time with an infant!) I absolutely love working with kids and am very good with them. I took a peer mentoring course for 3 years (from when I was 15-18 years old) where I traveled to an elementary school 3 days a week and helped out in a classroom with kids who needed extra attention. I have helped look after family members many times (ages 5 months to 7 years old). I have worked as a nanny for multiple different families over the last 5 years for children of all different ages. I am very alert and aware when watching after kids and never let them out of my sight.
