I am going to college to be a pediatric nurse. I currently have my CNA and CCMA. I am first aid trained, Stop the Bleed certified, CPR certified, and OSHA-10 certified. I have been around kids of all ages my whole life. I have watched mostly infants over the years. I love seeing them grow up and develop their personalities. I am currently available on all evenings around 3-late except on Saturdays.

My experience started at the age of 14 yrs old, being a paid babysitter/housekeeper. I cared for one young boy for 2 years and then the family adopted another young boy, shortly after, another set of brothers. I stayed with this family through the years of these transitions and my care had to change with them. Each boy was very different and required different care and styles of love. I continued to help this family until I joined the US Air Force as a Medic when I was 18. This time taught me crucial life saving skills, to include First Aid and CPR. A few years later came my first child followed by my second 3 years later. I became a stay at home mother and also helped care for my toddler nephew and newborn niece. Four children under the age of 4 was a lot but was such a beautiful and rewarding time for me. I learned to juggle the high needs of four little ones. As my children started to attend school I worked out of the home, being a nanny for an infant boy and toddler girl during the early morning/day and then a tutor/caretaker for a high needs elementary age child and a middle school age child after school, along with my own children. When it comes to skills, I also have more than the average first aid and CPR training, as I was a mere 6 months from graduating with my BSN as an RN when COVID hit and the hospitals shut down nursing student clinical rounds. It’s a long story but due to health issues in the family, I was not able to restart that program. However, the training I received is invaluable. In addition, my family says that I’m a great cook and I would be happy to make some meals for your family as well, as I did in my previous position. I’m willing to help with light housework (I’m a very clean and organized person), cooking, errands, school pick up, sports drop off/pick up, homework help, and more. My many years of experience covers the full spectrum of ages and needs. According to the families needs and structure, I will come along side and help nurture each child while they’re in my care and help the family as a whole however I’m able.
