I love children. I have 7 siblings and I’m the oldest so I have a little bit of experience. I’m fairly new to the area so I’m looking for a full time job babysitting.

I’ve always enjoyed spending time with children and am interested in getting a degree in education once I graduate. I have spent many hours caring for my younger brother and cousins. Every where I go, children seem to be attracted to my energy. My mom teaches at Sandy Hook Elementary and I have spent hours helping her plan activities for her students as well.

By the age of 14, I obtained a worker’s permit and began assisting at the local YMCA’s before- and after-school daycare program. For me, there has been nothing more profoundly rewarding than helping children explore the world around them — a privilege I’ve enjoyed off and on for the past 30 years. While I sincerely valued my time in schools for the opportunity to support children from all walks of life, my greatest joy has always been in private care.
