I have cared for children for 15 years. During this time, I have worked as a private nanny, a babysitter and in a licensed childcare center and summer camp. I am a creative person who strongly believes that children benefit from experiencing an enriched environment that challenges them to grow in their skills, knowledge and self-esteem. Mutual respect and understanding of child development are important in developing relationships with children and their parents. I’m a Senior in high school and I’ve been babysitting sporadically for about 4 years now (2 years regularly). I do have a normal job, but can usually be free any day of the week if I’m given a week’s notice. I love working with kids, and I’m happy to participate in any activities. I grew up with younger siblings and now have nieces and nephews. I work especially well with school aged kids, I’m less experienced with babies/toddlers, but not uncomfortable with them!
