I have 1.5 years of experience as an over night camp counselor, living with the youngest campers in cabins! My dream job and chosen career path is to be an Actor, specifically on Broadway, and I’ve been performing in shows since I was 6 years old (I’m 23 now.) Currently, I work full time at Champlain Valley Union HS as a science program assistant. While my day job is focused on 14-16 year olds, I have 16 years of experience working with children and infants. My first job at the age of 14 was lifeguarding at a public pool in my hometown, where I then moved on to working in a child care facility at the age of 17. I am hoping to find regular babysitting on the weekends while school is in session to then work more hours in the summer months in at-home childcare. I've lived in Vermont for nearly 3 years after spending 10 years in western Colorado where I also babysat and housesat regularly until 2020. My summers in Vermont have been spent working for the Green Mountain Club as a backcountry caretaker on Camel's Hump and Sterling Pond, but this coming summer I would like to hike recreationally rather than professionally.
