Hi! My name is Emma and I live in Waterbury. I have been babysitting since I was about 13 years old. I have lots of experience with infants and toddlers, along with CPR training. I love to go on adventures with the kiddos and I have a car for transportation. I am very flexible schedule wise and am looking for a full time nanny job!

I have been taking care of children for about 18 years starting as a mother's helper then moving on to be a babysitter and nanny. I have done a few nanny shares in the past starting when the children were 3 months old. I am currently the lead infant teacher at a nature based early childhood program. My first job at the age of 14 was lifeguarding at a public pool in my hometown, where I then moved on to working in a child care facility at the age of 17. I am hoping to find regular babysitting on the weekends while school is in session to then work more hours in the summer months in at-home childcare. I've lived in Vermont for nearly 3 years after spending 10 years in western Colorado where I also babysat and housesat regularly until 2020. My summers in Vermont have been spent working for the Green Mountain Club as a backcountry caretaker on Camel's Hump and Sterling Pond, but this coming summer I would like to hike recreationally rather than professionally. With my GMC caretaking I have attained a certifications in both CPR and Wilderness First Aid. Now that I have settled fully into Vermont I am hopeful to begin babysitting again and look forward to hearing from future families :)
