I have many years experience caring for children of all ages professionally. I have a clean background and reliable transportation. I have worked as a caregiver for the past 15 years helping elderly and disabled clients in their homes. I'm also a mom of a 27 year old son and 18 year old daughter and grandmother of 1 year old granddaughter 🙂 I love to cook making healthy meals and snacks, keeping homes clean and tidy, do arts/crafts, play games/ do puzzles and read books/watch movies occasionally and going to play outside in the fresh air when weather is decent. I enjoy pets and helping with them as well if needed. I'm flexible about days and times and for date nights too. I could even do overnights as well with a days advance notice if you need a weekend getaway. Please reach out if you are interested in meeting with me. Thanks Teresa😊

Experienced nanny with a high-focus on building healthy attachment styles by creating a predictable environment, guiding emotional and mental development. While I do incorporate a lot of learning into our play from neuroscience books I've read, I prefer to keep it fluid and still allow the child to be a child. I follow a Montessori approach, so I don't feel comfortable forcing learning or being rigid with the methods. Particularly with toddlers, I allow them to take the lead through their interests to develop their independence and need for autotomy. This empowers them to manage nonnegotiable rules and boundaries with less meltdowns; in other words, we're building the foundational skills for compromising. WFH Families Unfortunately, I am not a good fit for this environment I have worked with lovely families and even then, found my introverted temperament type gets exhausted integrating into the nuances of a family dynamic.

Hi, my name is Bahia, I am 34 years old and I have my master's degree in marriage, family, and child counseling. For the past 7 years I have been a nanny, splitting my time between multiple families, almost all of whom have had at least two children ranging from 3 months old to 7 years old. Before nannying I worked at an autism center for 5 years, first as a behavior therapist, and eventually as a clinical supervisor. At this job I worked one on one with children ranging from 18 months of age to 15 years old. At this job I was trained in methods of language development and behavior management. While working at the autism center and completing my master’s degree I also interned as a marriage and family therapist trainee for two years, and approximately half of my caseload consisted of children. I occasionally babysat while in high school and as an undergrad. I have also been a very involved aunt to a now 14-year-old girl and 12-year old twins. Saving my best experience for last, I am the proud mama to a sweet boy who was born in March 2021. I am currently looking for a part time job that I can bring my son to, or date night/weekend jobs when I can leave my son with his dad if needed. I have been bringing my son to work with ume since he was 6 months old, so he is very used to it. I will not favor my child while on the job, I see this as a great way to teach him to share toys and attention with other children. I hope that my extensive knowledge and experience with children will make me the right fit for your family.

Hi, my name is Brittany and I'm 32 years old. While my professional history is mostly in healthcare, I also have years of experience caring for children. I love to play, color, read stories, and can help with homework if needed too. I am open to any ages and I'm also trained in cpr and first aid. I know that picking someone to care for your child is a very difficult and important choice. I can provide references upon request. I know that a new provider is not only hard for parents but can also be a tough adjustment on kids. I do my best to ease that for them and for you by being patient, kind, loving and fun! If you feel like I might be a good fit for your family please send me a message and we can set up a time to meet. Thank you!

My name is Taryn and I have been a nanny for the last 12 years. I am also a certified medical assistant. I have worked with multiple families as a nanny and they have all become like family. I work part time for an amazing family right now and have been with them for the last four years. I am looking for a family/families who need an occasional sitter once a week or a few times a month, just to fill in all the off time I have. I have a 3 year old daughter that I occasionally bring with me depending on the time of day. I have continued to do this for so long because I find it extremely rewarding. I have multiple references from past and current families I’ve worked for and I hopefully will meet more amazing families soon!

My Name is Krystal and I am 27 years old. I grew up in a military family ever since I was born and took advatage of traveling around the world. I am very spontaneous, outgoing and enthuastic person and I love to stay active in my life. I am a happy go lucky person and always a very positive person. I try to bring the best in everyday life challenges. I work for the federal government and trying to find a side job so I can earn a little more money. Before working for the government, I use to work with children full time for about 6 years. I started as a child watch assistant working at the YMCA for child watch program for about 2 and half years where we assist and watch children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. During that time, I also babysat outside the job for some families I met while working at the Y. Then I became a preschool teacher at the YMCA from their child youth program. I volunteered for about 1 year while working at the Child Watch. I was doing that part time while going to school studing Early Childhood education and I decided to work full time and I got a job at the Child Development Center at Jackson Park. My goal was to work with military kids because I grew up as one and it was fun and one of the best experiences ever. After realizing working with kids, it was one thing I was very passionate about it and I was good at and saw myself doing it in the long run. I want to open up my own day care in the future. The reason why I love being a sitter because I always want to make a difference in a child's life and I feel like that's very important. I love being able to form memories with children of all ages and be attentive and loving to them because some kids need that care and I love showing that to them. Also, to have that patience, I strongly believe some children can have temper tantrums, but if you show them the willingness to make them happy and not give up on them, is a total blessing and makes your heart grow fonder. I also love putting a smile on a child's face because that shows I'm doing a great job! Kids are the meaning in life and are the future. Another thing I love is being able to be creative with children as a sitter. I love being able to create something new so kids can be entertained whether it's games, crafts, or other activities. My main objective is to set a good example for the children and become their best mentors and teachers.

I love working with children. I am highly experienced with kids newborn-13 years old. Growing up my mom owned/operated her own in home licensed childcare for 30 years. Since the day I was born I was around other kids and that has just never stopped. I have worked in daycare settings myself, tutored and mentored kids, worked in a preschool setting, years of experience babysitting. I also have a ton of volunteer experience at schools and churches working with kids. I also have taken college courses for early childhood education and classroom management. I also have 3 kids of my own so I understand how you as the parent need to feel comfortable with who is watching your kid/kids. I am first aid and CPR certified. I would love to chat!
