I am a retired healthcare professional, who loves kids. I took care of them as a professional for many years and also my own kids as a mother. I am simply looking for an opportunity to spend quality time with kids, help out families, and possibly supplement my income a little bit. I am extremely aware of how difficult life can be for families whose parents need to work and have difficulty finding adequate childcare. Also comfortable with sick and special needs kids. I will rock and sing to babies. I love reading to children and doing art projects with them. I enjoy playing outside and going for walks with kids. I prefer to minimize screen time and television although I am happy to work within your requested parameters. I am certified in BLS, as well as ACLS, comfortable managing a wide variety of health and safety issues. Fully vaccinated. I love working and supervising children because they are our future in our lives. I left my previous child care job of 5 years to finish college. My top priority is providing a safe, interactive, and fun environment. In regards to my experience with child care, I was able to help children solve problems on the playgrounds, such as sharing and making new friends when they felt left out. I would even play with a few of the children who were new to the school and who had a hard time socializing with others their own age. I am First Aid and CPR Certified by the American Red Cross. I have experience with housekeeping/cooking and I am willing to add that to part of my sitter job. I am willing to provide homework help with children as well and be there by helping them solve their homework tasks. I am a future teacher and I have an English Degree from Cal State Fullerton.
