Hi! I'm 25 years old and have over 7 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from as young as 3 months up to 12 years old. I’ve worked with children in both one-on-one settings and group environments, including two years in a daycare center. I also have experience caring for children with special needs, and I always aim to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where kids can thrive. I’ve completed a background check through a government agency and have worked with the Navy’s fee assistance program. I’m dependable, energetic, and passionate about helping kids learn, play, and grow. Please note, I do have my own little one who would accompany me while I care for your child(ren). I always make sure this works smoothly for everyone and that all children feel included and well cared for.

I love watching kids because I was always the kid who grew up too fast . I was the kid who had to watch the younger siblings and cousins because of neglect and mistreatment of those around them. Growing up in the environment I did has given me much patience and understanding the importance of showing up for the child especially if they aren't developing as fast as the baby next to them. I love giving them a safe space to be an innocent child as well as creative . Children are sponges and now is the time where shapes and puzzle exercise can really excell their future. I grew up raising all of my brothers children and seeing how he lacked as a father is one of the reasons I strive to this day to be the best i can for kids. My experience is heavily rooted in my family and watching the kids that were, "Too difficult" to watch. Which simply meant they are on the spectrum but to my elders at the time is was more of a burden then something to adapt to. I have good de-escalation skills because of this. Sometimes a child can get overstimulated and rather than add to that high stress moment for them I like to asses and approach from a more comforting view point. I can multitask rather well given all my experience is fast lace restaurant environment. That being said I went to school for culinary and cook regularly outside of my current job so meal prepping is not hard of a task at all. I do not have any CPR training though I am not shy to trying and or making sure the child is not choking or something that needs to come up.
