Hello parents! I have been an occasional babysitter for the past 37 years. I have cared for newborns all the way up to teenagers. I do NOT have experience with children with physical disabilities, but am open to learning. I am available to do occasional babysitting jobs. I am NOT seeking full time babysitting or a nanny position; although, I can do PART TIME, temporary nanny positions, if you need one while searching for a full timer. I prefer to babysit no more than 2 children at a time, so I can give each child quality care and watch them closely; however, if you have VERY well behaved children, I am open to babysitting 3 children. I like to engage children while I am babysitting. I do NOT like to plop them in front of the TV-unless it's rest time or when I am preparing meals. If the weather is nice, I like to play in the backyard or go to a nearby park during the day (weather permitting). Even a walk gets them out of the house and moving. I paid for a criminal background check on Care.com, and I have an FBI fingerprint clearance, I can send both to you upon request. I can help with homework- I have three college degrees! I'm good at math, english, writing and science. I am available on short notice, but prefer at least a day's notice. I'd be happy to meet you prior to babysitting if you prefer, or do a FaceTime chat, or a phone call. I am fine with pets, as long as they are friendly. I have a big soft spot for kitty cats!
