Hello! My name is Rumana Ali, and I'm an undergraduate pre-medical student at UW Seattle. I am located in Seattle and can conveniently get to anywhere close by, such as Capitol Hill, but also have a car and can travel farther (Bothell, Redmond, etc.) if needed. I love kids and hope to become a pediatrician one day! To me, working with children is incredibly fun and exciting—| love to engage their curiosity and sense of play as a babysitter and help them learn how to be respectful and kind as peers at the same time. I have experience working with kids of all ages, particularly between infants to around 11 years old. When babysitting, I typically help kids read books, play lots of games, as well as do arts and crafts in order to stimulate their imagination and creativity. I am happy to help with homework, light housekeeping, and any other responsibilities you might need me to do. I have 3 years of experience doing paid babysitting, and spent 2 years working for a family with three talkative and active kids aged 1, 3, and 5. I also babysat for many different families through other babysitting platforms for an additional year, and am super adaptable to a variety of kids! In terms of availability, I am typically available in the evenings on weekdays and all day on weekends, but I can be flexible if needed. Parenting is hard; the most fulfilling aspect of babysitting to me is helping your family maintain balance within your lives amidst busy schedules, and I sincerely hope to use my experience working with kids in my future career!

I have experience with asthma, diabetes, and low/medium support needs ASD. I have watched after twins - including a pair of premature girls, triplets, and older siblings with infants. My name is Olive. I am a mom to 6-year-old girl. I came to Seattle with an Au pair (live-in nanny) program in January, 2008. I graduated Bachelor's degree in faculty of Education, majoring in kindergarten and worked as a kindergarten teacher for eight months in Thailand . Hi! I’ve been babysitting since I was 10 and most recently have been substitute teaching children of all ages. I nannied for two families while in college the longest for 2.5 years and started with them when their firstborn was 1 years old then transitioned to newborn care after their second was born.
