From 2015 to 2018 I worked at Green Tree Early Education center in Downtown Seattle. After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Early Education, I went for a Masters in Computer Science from Northeastern University. During my corporate career, I worked EST which allowed me to be an afterschool nanny/manny starting during the pandemic. I have worked with 7 different families and my undergraduate education was focused on infants and toddlers. Most of my experience is in transitional care / mothers helper while the families are on a waitlist for childcare centers. However my most recent experience was as a nanny/manny for two boys with Autism Spectrum disorder. I have an outdated first aid and CPR certification but I am almost certain there has not been any significant changes since 2017.

I’m originally from Honolulu, Hawaii but I moved to Washington in 2020 for school, and I graduated from UW in 2024 with my B.S in speech and hearing sciences! I attended school at the University of Washington where I obtained my Master's in Teaching in 2020. I've been working with kids for 10 years and have babysat for the past 5 years. I've cared for many families, mostly in date night roles, with kids aged 1 and up. I am a child care teacher, nanny, and now mom to a high school senior in. I work as a school district ECE teacher Sept-June and am doing some Weekend care for extra money. For a number of years I was a nanny in exchange for rent and did after hours care and evening and weekend routines with children 1 years old to age 10, including helping with chores and school work and getting them ready for bed. I enjoy doing cooking, dramatic play, and art with children and I make sure to get them some exercise and quiet time when with them for long stretches of time.

I have been babysitting ever since I was 12 years old. I wanted to give back for all the years that I had been taken care of. I took a specific course to become a babysitter and started to babysit my neighbors. I had heard about a course specifically for babysitting, so I took it. After that I was good to go to babysit the whole neighborhood. It worked out perfectly while I attended UC Davis. I graduated with two degrees in Dramatic Art and Design, and two minors in Chicano Studies and Education. I love to teach it and create new things. I am also a Spanish native speaker.
