Hello! I’d love the opportunity to support families with their childcare needs while spending meaningful, enjoyable time with children through occasional babysitting. A little about me: I work full-time as a project coordinator at a local cancer research organization, so I’m generally available on some weekday evenings and weekends. I am CPR/BLS certified and have approximately 15 years of babysitting and nannying experience with children ranging from 2 months to 16 years old. As the eldest sibling of two younger children, much of my experience also comes from helping care for them over the years. I enjoy cooking (and can accommodate specific dietary needs), cycling, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. I am a STEM graduate from the UW (go huskies!) and speak conversational Spanish. I’m also happy to assist with homework when needed. I strongly value quality time and believe it goes hand in hand with quality care. I limit screen time unless otherwise requested by parents and prefer engaging activities such as outdoor play (weather and permission permitting), arts and crafts, reading, imaginative play, and other creative activities. I’m comfortable with nighttime routines, active listening, and infant care. Please feel free to reach out with any questions - I’m always happy to connect with parents ahead of time and can offer phone screenings as well. I look forward to the possibility of working with your family!

Hi there I am currently a Kindergarten teacher in Seattle for the Renton School District. I have BA of Interdisciplinary Studies, a MA in Education and teaching certificate for the states of TX, CA and Washington. I relocated to Seattle from Texas where I taught Pre Kindergarten in a public school as a certified teacher for 5 years. I also taught PreK in California and worked in various schools in Orange County, California. Other experience includes KinderCare preschool teacher where I worked with 2 year olds and infants and part time babysitting over the years for families with kiddos of all ages. As a certified teacher I have many hours of training and experience using positive discipline focused on redirection and respecting relationships. I have many fur babies so pets are always a plus. I look forward to meeting you.

I love kids and am experienced with all ages. I currently teach in elementary. I have worked in an early learning daycare with infants to pre-k. I’m looking for some occasional babysitting jobs that would most likely be best for evenings, date nights, or on weekends. I am CPR certified.

I have been babysitting ever since I was 12 years old. I wanted to give back for all the years that I had been taken care of. I took a specific course to become a babysitter and started to babysit my neighbors. I had heard about a course specifically for babysitting, so I took it. After that I was good to go to babysit the whole neighborhood. It worked out perfectly while I attended UC Davis. I graduated with two degrees in Dramatic Art and Design, and two minors in Chicano Studies and Education. I love to teach it and create new things. I am also a Spanish native speaker. I was born in a town near Mexico City. I am very interested in teaching kids what I have learned and also try to have fun with them. Every time I babysit I like to teach the kids something new. Currently, I am a pre-K teacher. I am loving, fun, and entertaining to be around. Teaching kiddos is my passion. It’s the beginning of a new beginning in education. Please ask what my availability is for the summer! Gracias

Hi! My name is Milagros, and I’m a caring, reliable, and energetic childcare provider with over 5 years of experience working with children of different ages. I’m originally from Argentina and currently based in Seattle. I have a background in Physical Education and Personal Training, which strongly shapes the way I care for kids — I love encouraging movement, outdoor play, and healthy routines in a fun and safe way. I’ve worked as a full-time nanny, babysitter, and caregiver, supporting families with everything from daily routines and school pickups to creative play, meals, and emotional support. I’m very attentive, organized, and calm under pressure, and I truly value building trust with both parents and children. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your child with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, have a clean driving record, and I always aim to create a positive, structured, and loving environment where kids feel safe, seen, and supported. I’m happy to adapt to each family’s needs and parenting style, and I communicate clearly and openly. I genuinely enjoy working with children and being a supportive presence in their growth and daily life. I’d love to connect and see if I could be a good fit for your family!

My husband and I have four children and six grandchildren! We believe that children are a gift from God, so nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's something I genuinely love to do! With 30 years of experience caring for children aged 0-17, I find immense joy in fostering their growth and development. My approach is patient, kind, and gentle, creating a safe and supportive environment for your little one. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and happy to provide regular updates on your child's day through texts or phone calls, if desired, in addition to verbal communication at pickup. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I am First Aid and CPR certified as of December 13th, 2025. I am happy to help with carpooling and light housekeeping, and would love to babysit so you the parent/parents can get a day/night off. It would be my pleasure to support your family and provide a reliable childcare option for you.

Hi, my name is Bahia, I am 34 years old and I have my master's degree in marriage, family, and child counseling. For the past 7 years I have been a nanny, splitting my time between multiple families, almost all of whom have had at least two children ranging from 3 months old to 7 years old. Before nannying I worked at an autism center for 5 years, first as a behavior therapist, and eventually as a clinical supervisor. At this job I worked one on one with children ranging from 18 months of age to 15 years old. At this job I was trained in methods of language development and behavior management. While working at the autism center and completing my master’s degree I also interned as a marriage and family therapist trainee for two years, and approximately half of my caseload consisted of children. I occasionally babysat while in high school and as an undergrad. I have also been a very involved aunt to a now 14-year-old girl and 12-year old twins. Saving my best experience for last, I am the proud mama to a sweet boy who was born in March 2021. I am currently looking for a part time job that I can bring my son to, or date night/weekend jobs when I can leave my son with his dad if needed. I have been bringing my son to work with ume since he was 6 months old, so he is very used to it. I will not favor my child while on the job, I see this as a great way to teach him to share toys and attention with other children. I hope that my extensive knowledge and experience with children will make me the right fit for your family.

Hi- My name is Dylan! I enjoy partnering with parents to ensure children receive the nurturing, consistency, care, and fun they need. I am a kid at heart and love to get down on the floor (or up in a play structure) to play with kids, encouraging their imagination, doing age appropriate science and art projects, adventuring outdoors, and facilitating their brain development through play, reading, and singing. It is important to me to model empathy, respect, and acceptance with the goal of empowering children to solve problems. Additionally, I am very skilled at multi-tasking and time management to ensure the safety and well being of all children in my care. Biggest strength: I give kids the attention they deserve! I am regularly referred to by parents as the 'kid whisperer' or 'Pied Piper.' While some believe I have magical powers (especially toddlers!), in truth, I am simply present and attuned to their needs and wants, through the laughter and tears. Experience: I have over 15 years experience as a babysitter and nanny for children birth to 17 years of age, providing care for up to 5 children at a time both in the family's home and traveling. The majority of my experience is with infants and toddlers. I have volunteered as a child care provider for Pinay sa Seattle, co-facilitating a childcare group during meetings and events for up to 8 children ages 8 months-7 years. Additionally, I have experience as a birth and postpartum doula. I have worked with single parent and blended families, have experience with twins, triplets, ADD/ADHD, autism, food allergies, trauma, and preemie infant health issues. Education: BA in Liberal Arts: Leadership & Human Services, Antioch University - Seattle, 2014 Somatics Practitioner Training, Generative Somatics, 2018 Embodied Social Justice Certificate, The Embody Lab, 2022 Newborn Care Specialist, DNT Network, 2025 Infant Sleep Consultant, DNT Network, 2025 Infant/Child CPR/First Aid, renewed 12/25 COVID/Flu boosters, Fall 2025 TDap, current Work History: 8+ years in social work directly supporting homeless youth and adults living with mental illness, substance use disorder, and disabilities

Hello Everyone, My name is Karen. I just completed my 11th year of teaching Special Education teacher for the NYC Board of Education. The last 4 of the 12 years I taught Art specifically 🎨. I worked primarily with students diagnosed with Autism but have experience babysitting/tutoring/nanny-ing children of all ages and abilities ranging from 1 to 16 years of age. I've taken a little pause on teaching this year to explore some exciting creative endeavors, as well as go on a fun adventure to the West Coast! However, I would still love the opportunity to work with children in some capacity 😊 I would describe myself as a very loving person, honest, kind, I am a huge animal, passionate about loving our planet, and above all a big kid who likes to be goofy and fun. Please reach out with any questions you may have! Hope to speak with you soon. Warmly, Karen

Experienced nanny with a high-focus on building healthy attachment styles by creating a predictable environment, guiding emotional and mental development. While I do incorporate a lot of learning into our play from neuroscience books I've read, I prefer to keep it fluid and still allow the child to be a child. I follow a Montessori approach, so I don't feel comfortable forcing learning or being rigid with the methods. Particularly with toddlers, I allow them to take the lead through their interests to develop their independence and need for autotomy. This empowers them to manage nonnegotiable rules and boundaries with less meltdowns; in other words, we're building the foundational skills for compromising. WFH Families Unfortunately, I am not a good fit for this environment I have worked with lovely families and even then, found my introverted temperament type gets exhausted integrating into the nuances of a family dynamic.
