My name is Hailey and I‘m 32 years old. I relocated to Spokane from Tri-Cities to be closer to family about 7 years ago now. I have 10 years of experience working in childcare through previous nanny jobs, working in the infant room at KinderCare, as well as working as an assistant teacher at Children's Garden Montessori school. I have cared for children of all ages ranging from infant to pre teen through my previous jobs. I currently work night shifts a few nights a week at Sunshine Health Facilities. In 2017 received my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education through Columbia Community College. I have stayed up to date on my CPR and first aid certification when I received my nurse aid certification last year. I have 3 great references I can send you. I hope you will consider me when you are looking for care for your family!

I am a long-time nanny seeking occasional hours with children of any age. I have experience with exclusively breast-fed infants, multiples, ADHD, autism, cerebral palsy, and g-tubes, and have also worked with clients in the foster system who required a wide variety of behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and physical support. I am a musician, speak some Spanish, and know some baby sign. I love taking my charges out into the community and having new experiences. Most of all, I enjoy building safe, fun relationships, nurturing creativity, and getting to know the unique personality of each child I care for.

Having the ability to work with kids has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Being a current college student and not being around children as much has made me realize how much I miss it! Though I haven't had any paid childcare experience, my experience taking care of and looking after children has been a role I've partaken in throughout most of my life. From working in my dance studio and teaching younger dancers to looking after and playing with my little cousins, I have spent countless hours helping kids flourish in a safe environment. I absolutely love having the ability to watch kids grow and discover who they are while making sure they're in an environment both safe and comfortable for them. With my CNA and BLS certifications, I have more than enough experience caring for any physical situations that may arise, though my extensive experience being around children also allows me to solve other conflicts that could occur. Please feel free to contact me with references I can provide or any other questions you may have!

Karina has been absolutely amazing with my three girls. They adore her! Honestly, after every visit I hear, “When do I get to see Karina next?” on repeat. That alone says everything you need to know. She is incredibly attentive and truly present with the kids. She doesn’t just supervise, she plays with them, engages with them, and makes them feel special and cared for. My girls always have so much fun when she’s with them, and I have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in such good hands. Karina is reliable, kind, and genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in how quickly my girls connected with her. We feel so lucky to have her and can’t recommend her enough. We will absolutely continue having her back,my girls wouldn’t allow anything else!

I have been working with children for almost five years in a variety of settings, most notably as a preschool and kindergarten aid at a daycare center in my home town. I love helping children explore the world around them and like to do this through creative outlets such as music and art, which I have an extensive background in. I have all of my Washington state required licensing in order to work as a childcare provider including my CPR, food handlers license, and sleep safe trainings. I have a reliable vehicle in order to travel to surrounding areas for care. I specialize in helping neurodivergent kiddos, and can’t wait to meet your family!

Hello! I'm so happy you're here! My name is Sharyl, I'm 25 yrs old, one of eight children, lover of all things outdoors, and very passionate about creating an environment of love, kindness, encouragement, and patience for children and other fellow humans :) I have recently moved back to the Spokane area after being a missionary serving the homeless out east for the past three years. Before homeless ministry I had various nanny jobs for around five years! My nanny experience included caring for children between the ages of 8 months old - 5 years old. Throughout all those jobs I maintained a positive, safe, clean, and encouraging environment and atmosphere that allowed those children to thrive and grow. I would love to continue to give children such an environment through a nanny job. Some activities I love doing with kids would include going outside, playing at parks, reading books, building toys, and singing/enjoying music. The last thing I'm going to do is put a child in front of a screen! I am looking for part-time employment of 20-30hrs/week. I would be happy to email my resumé with other work experiences and references. Thank you! God bless, Sharyl Stommes

My name is Rachel and I am 27 years old. I am the oldest of four siblings and Igrew up being their built in babysitter which is where my childcare experience started. I’ve always enjoyed working with children as it’s such a fulfilling job to watch them grow and see how you took part in their development. At age 16 and 17 I held a job as a referee for children’s sports during two summers from a range of ages (3 - 14 years). I also volunteered at my church’s ‘Vacation Bible School’ during the summer. I moved away from working with kids for a long while after that, aside from babysitting children of family members’ here and there. I mainly held jobs in customer service until August 2023 when I began working at Lilac City Early Learning Center in Spokane. During this time I underwent a background check + fingerprinting, renewed my cpr + first aid certification, took a 30hr STARS training course, received a blood borne pathogens certification, went through several conscious discipline modules and obtained a ton of hands on experience with ages ranging from infants to five year olds. We practiced conscious discipline at the center and I found it to be very aligned with my view of kids and how I want to parent my own daughter. I believe kids need help working through their emotions and to find constructive ways to do that. Working at the center gave me a lot of ideas for redirecting children towards better choices when experiencing big emotions. I went on maternity leave mid December and returned to the center in May 2023. My partner and I relocated to Shoreline at the beginning of June, thus I quit working at the center and began working for families as their nanny/occasional babysitter. Since June I have worked for two families full time and several families doing more occasional/backup care. Now my daughter is 11mo. I am very familiar with watching multiple children at one time since the classrooms at Lilac City would have anywhere between 4-10 children per teacher depending on the age group. I am looking forward to connecting with you and your children.

Rachel was truly amazing at taking care of our daughter. It was wonderful to see how well our daughter played with Rachel's daughter, who provided such lovely company. Rachel consistently demonstrated her commitment and was incredibly flexible whenever we needed extra hours or schedule adjustments. We would highly recommend Rachel!

Hi! My name is Kaia. I recently graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, and I am excited to bring my experience, energy, and passion for working with children to a nanny position. I have over a year of childcare experience and truly enjoy creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. Growing up with both an older brother and a younger sister gave me firsthand experience understanding different personalities and age groups, while also helping me develop patience, responsibility, and strong communication skills. I was a cheerleader at the University of Idaho, and throughout high school I participated in a variety of sports. I love staying active and enjoy planning creative activities, outdoor adventures, games, and crafts that keep children engaged and entertained.

Hello families! My name is Sierra and I am originally from Spokane WA! Through the years I have always gravitated to work that includes taking care of children. Most recently, I worked as nanny in Australia, Aug 2019-Feb 2020 (AUPairWorld). I absolutely loved this family but had to say goodbye to them early and come back to the US due to Covid. In high school I grew up looking after my niece now age 12. Throughout College I nannied for a family with two little girls, 7 months and 3. 5 years old. After my time in Australia, I feel I have gained a lot of knowledge and child care experience and would love to continue to help families look after their kiddos! I enjoy staying active and am passionate about the environment. I am currently going back to school to become a nurse and am taking my classes through SCC. As you can imagine I love kids and thoroughly enjoy seeing where their imagination (and mine) takes us! I am currently CPR certified, a non-smoker and have transportation.

Hi! I have an estimated two years of experience in babysitting kids ages 2-4. I possess skills in changing diapers, preparing meals, entertaining kids, making kids laugh and smile, and monitoring them while they play. As a general rule, I encourage kids to go outside and play and not simply stay inside and watch TV or play games on their phones. I know how to play typical kid games and am able to participate with them. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
