Hello! I'm so happy you're here! My name is Sharyl, I'm 25 yrs old, one of eight children, lover of all things outdoors, and very passionate about creating an environment of love, kindness, encouragement, and patience for children and other fellow humans :) I have recently moved back to the Spokane area after being a missionary serving the homeless out east for the past three years. Before homeless ministry I had various nanny jobs for around five years! My nanny experience included caring for children between the ages of 8 months old - 5 years old. Throughout all those jobs I maintained a positive, safe, clean, and encouraging environment and atmosphere that allowed those children to thrive and grow. I would love to continue to give children such an environment through a nanny job. Some activities I love doing with kids would include going outside, playing at parks, reading books, building toys, and singing/enjoying music. The last thing I'm going to do is put a child in front of a screen! I am looking for part-time employment of 20-30hrs/week. As a mother I understand the concern and anxiety that can come with finding someone your family trusts as caretaker of your child. With over 25 years caring for kids, I bring a unique blend of confidence and ability that can only come from experience. The oldest of three, I was able to recognize my passion for kids at a very young age. I regularly cared for my younger siblings including one with learning disabilities. Having the ability to work with kids has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Being a current college student and not being around children as much has made me realize how much I miss it! Though I haven't had any paid childcare experience, my experience taking care of and looking after children has been a role I've partaken in throughout most of my life.
