I’ve also worked with kiddos that have mental and/or physical health disorders. When I work with children I love to include active activities such as, going for a walk, playing outdoors, going to the park, using sidewalk chalk, etc. Indoor activities i generally include are: being crafty, reading, playing board games, etc. My personality is generally pretty energetic, but also decently laid back. I consider myself a problem solver, but also being mindful in certain circumstances. And I’m calm but collected in stressful situations. When there is downtime, I do like to clean up/tidy, I also will help with any homework that needs to be finished! I love to cook and bake. And I’m great with many animals/reptiles.

I mean, have you ever heard of a sitter that you can text within 2 hours of when you'd like them to arrive? You're free to run errands, have lunch with a friend, schedule that interview, show that house, meet a client, take that extra shift. Wow! Now that's convenient. Don't be a slave to a schedule. Flexibility makes life run smoothly. I will come to your home and play indoors with your child. We will play with their toys, games, puzzles, blow bubbles, color and crafts, pretend, talk, read, listen to music, put on talent shows, etc. After I get to know your child, we can possibly bake & make other messy crafts. An in-person meeting is required before I can watch the kids. Doing the meeting at the last minute shows that we have an understanding of the last minute arrangement that would be used when contacting me for care. Then we'd be all set for last minute care. Hi! My name is Carrie and I nanny in the Lake Country area! I am looking for a full time position with one or more kiddos (the more, the merrier). I am also a house manager and do really well with helping out around the house! I really enjoy working with kiddos of all ages but I am specifically educated on working with infants/babies. I enjoy being outside and going places such as the park, museums, water parks, the zoo & new places! Although I never was a registered babysitter, I have babysat and taken care of three or four children at a time within my family. I was a nanny for my sister Leah and her three children when I was 14 for a whole summer in between academic school years, for example. I did work at a daycare - Little Dumplings Early Learning Center- for the summer and I absolutely enjoyed every second. I worked with ages 6 months-3 years primarily and I love that age because I see so much personality development and growth at those ages. It is an extremely rewarding job knowing I help not only the kids with every day activities, but that I also help the parents. I know life can get very hectic and not working isn’t an option. I think that taking care of children is a great gift to people like me who want to work with children when they get older. It is great practice as I always learn many new things, and again as I said before, it is incredibly rewarding watching and helping little children grow into toddlerhood then preschool age and so on.
