Mary Ann was great! My wife and I both work and have long commutes. She would pick up my daughter and 2 nephews from elementary school and take them back to my home in Gurnee. You could tell she loved the kids. She was mostly prompt, very flexible and always respectful. I would recommend her to any working parents who need some extra help.

Hello. I have been in the childcare field for over 28 years specializing in providing the best care for your child/children while parents are working and/or attending school. I provide "hands-on" and nuture as I feel this is very important. I have specialized training in the fields of asthma, special needs, child abuse, sexual abuse, cpr/first aid certification as well as Child Development. I work with children who have speech impairments, learning disabilities as well as teaching pre-school for chidren getting ready for kindergarden. I provide transportation to schools - District 3 (Beach Park Schools) and District 6 (Zion Schools) if needed. I provide back-up care, sick care as well as vacation/summer care. Nothing is more rewarding then having one of your daycare children comeup to you at the end of the day and say "I love you Miss Jan - your the best" with a hug/kiss. It makes my job so rewarding. I have had children from newborn to middle school who often bring up things that had happened (potty training, that special birthday party, stickers for good deeds) which often makes me feel that all my work has made this child excel in life and its a wonderful feeling. Pricila is a rare find. She is a wonderful person who is extremely competent at what she does. She is very patient, understanding, and kind to the littles (1-3). Our kids LOVE her and got excited when she came around. She effortlessly worked with our autistic son and was able to communicate with him and help him out when he was struggling. We'd hire Pricila again in a heartbeat.

I have experience caring for multiple children, twins, newborns, and school aged children. I’m starting to learn sign language and starting to learn how to work one on one with an autistic child. I’m learning how to help with daily routines and working side by side with therapists. I do have experience with caring for multiple children at once, including twins. I love doing outdoor and indoor activities; hand painting, coloring, and reading books are a normal part of our day. My days are full of different ideas to keep creative little minds going. Having raised 2 daughters of my own, I learned that having a fun day is most important!! I became a Certified Nurse Assistant in 2005, and worked as a Patient Care Tech for about 3 years, and I am CPR certified. My experience as a Nanny includes a variety of tasks in addition to childcare, including: light housekeeping, transportation to/from school and activities, cooking, and running errands. I am extremely reliable, never calling off work, and always on time. I am also very flexible with my schedule, and can start early or stay late on short notice. I am fully vaccinated, a non-smoker, and have reliable transportation. Happy to provide detailed resume and current references upon request. Diane M

My name is Pamela Coats, I go by Pam. I find working with kids fulfilling because there are so many things to learn and explore with them every day. I love being able to inspire their curiosity and excitement in small and big ways throughout their day. Your job stood out to me because it sounds like your child or children are one of my favorite ages to work with (believe or not!) and your schedule works great for me. I available on short notice if need. I maintain my First Aid skills. I also have a very good driving record. In addition to child care, I’m able to do light housekeeping and laundry. There would be very little TV or Computer time. As we would go for walks, do art and crafts and other fun activities. For baby’s we would have time on the floor doing many baby activities. I hope to hear from you soon and look forward to getting to know you and your family. Thank You

Pam was truly a blessing to my family! She watched my 5 month old and 21 month old about 10 times, sometimes at our house and sometimes at hers. Her husband helped too, and they treated my kids like family. She was patient, engaging, and proactive in creating positive habits. She didn't just watch them, she bonded so much that my toddler adored her and didn't want to leave! Pam gave them her whole heart, was available last minute, and so supportive of me as a mom. She remembered everything and I was so thankful to find her. I highly recommend her!

I have a degree in Elementary Education. I have been a teacher of first graders, four year old children and worked part-time in the infant room of a daycare. I recently tutored children in elementary school and enjoyed that immensely, but unfortunately the program stopped. I enjoyed teaching but I had to leave teaching full-time. I have had CPR training for children and babies and adults. I have had many babysitting jobs, especially in high school and college. I was a nanny for two children in Chicago for two summers while I attended college. I have had a great deal experience with the children of all ages. I grew up in a family of ten children and was responsible for the children, babies and for the household chores as well. I have no children of my own but I feel I have had many experiences with children it feels like I have had children. I know how important in development a child needs to interact with other people to learn basic skills. Small motor skills are extremely important for babies and children, such as playing, reading, role playing is vital for growth in development. Being loving, showing affection is necessary for the child's self esteem. I especially want to find a babysitting job with babies or small children,I loved that the most and miss it
