I’ve been babysitting since age 13 and now I work full-time with kiddos as a childcare teacher at the CP Center! Because the CP Center is inclusive, I’ve worked with children with ranging special needs from infancy to 5 years old. I’ve worked in all our childcare rooms from children 3 months to 7 years old. I love working with kids and seeing their different personalities and what interests them! I’m CPR and first aid certified, as well as background checked and fingerprinted by the state because I work in a daycare. I’m available weeknights except for Wednesdays and Thursdays and I have availability on the weekends.

My goal is to go to school to become an elementary school teacher and with that in mind, I want to get as much experience with children because every child is unique in their own way and I want to get some experience with children. So that when I do start school either next year or in 2027, i'll have enough experience with children to help become the best teacher I can be in the future. The experience I have is that i've watched a few of my relatives kids, at family gatherings I keep an eye on all the kids usually just to make sure they don't get in trouble, stay in sight, make sure the kids are playing fair, play and entertain kids to make sure they're not bored, and help them with things like grabbing them a plate and make a plate, guiding them to where they need to go/be, and speak up for them when needed. Some skills I have are: Problem-solving, creativity, patience and empathy, emotional awareness, positive mindset. I've babysat/watched a few babies,toddlers, kids from 5-10.
