Hey, I'm Heidi! I like to consider myself as an energetic joyful responisble individual. Being with kids brings me great joy! I have a special gift for being nurturing and gentle. My most applicable experience would be from when I worked at a summer Bible camp. I was a counselor responsible for 18+ kids in my cabin. That position included: caring for their needs (physical and emotional), keeping them on schedule, providing entertainment, ensuring their safety and more. This was a very joyful time in my life and I will use the skills I learned from that position for whatever childcare position I find next.

I’ve worked in a Daycare with infants from 4-18months, and toddlers from 2-4y/o for the last two years. I worked at the YMCA for their summer care program with elementary kids! I’m a current college student working part time at the Menards DC so I have some extra free time on my hands. I’m in school for Pre- Vet Biology and hope to attend vet school after I finish here in Eau Claire. I’m first aid trained and have worked with seniors and advanced stage dementia/ Alzheimer’s seniors for the last 4 years. My best friend has 10 children age ranging from 18 months- 11 years so I tend to do a lot of free babysitting for her! I really enjoy building connections with people of all ages and helping children grow to see the beauty in everyday life. I’m patient, empathetic, caring, and mindful. I have my own car and in my free time I enjoy doing arts and crafts such as painting/ coloring or crochet.
