I am a lead preschool teacher in a daycare setting. I have been working as a lead teacher at the YMCA in the child care dept for 8 years and was a previous gymnastics coach at the Y for 3 years. My current job responsibilities include cleaning, preparing and serving food, potty training, and preparing educational and engaging play activities for 3-5 year olds. I have taken care of 25 kids in my class. I enjoy forming connections and getting to know each child’s unique and fun personality. I love the challenge of figuring out how each child learns best and creating specific activities to help them reach their goals. It is a very rewarding job. I love animals! I absolutely LOVE working with children!!! I used to work at a daycare full-time, and I worked for a wonderful family last year for almost 6 months watching there 2 boys 3 days a week minimum until they moved to a different city. Otherwise, I would still be working for them, because the family really liked me and still does, and the boys both loved me, especially the 3 year old, seeing as he still talks about me almost a year later. I have a letter of recommendation, in which, the wife wrote for me. I have experience working with infants, as well as potty training. The mom of the two boys would speak well of me potty training her oldest son, seeing as the other boy was almost a year old when my time with them ended. Therefore, he was still in diapers when I left, but she would love it if I were able to be there to potty train him too, when he is old enough. I would love to be a part of your family, if it's a good fit for all of us, because I want your family to have the proper caretaker working with your child/children that best fits their needs, seeing as that is what I would be there for. I also enjoy cooking and cleaning, and cleaning up before I leave is a non-negotiable, because I like my work area to be clean, as well as neat and tidy, especially when the job is complete for the day. I want you to come home to a clean environment as well.

Hi! I've been "officially" babysitting for over 14 years but have provided care for kiddos since even before that. Little's have always been a big part of my life and because of my experience, I am comfortable with newborns up through the teenage years, twins, large families, kiddos with diet restrictions, and kiddos with learning or social struggles.
