I’ve been working with kids for 9 years now, and childcare has always been something I’ve been genuinely passionate about. When I was 16, I was hired by the YMCA where I worked in the childcare center, refereed sports, and lifeguarded. when i lived in Wyoming, i helped my stepmom and sister watch over my nephew (who is 6) and my niece (who is 9 months old). this was not a paid type of babysitting but it was to watch over them to make sure they were safe while they were busy. i have thought about getting a babysitting job as a side hustle while i find a job since i just moved to California 2 weeks ago. i am very nice i can be shy too. but kids do adore me, and i’d be happy to help out. i can take afternoons, evenings and overnight.
