My husband and I have a 1 year old boy and a 3 year old girl (turning 4 in August). We both work full time. Our daughter goes to preschool 5 days a week, full day. She is strong willed and has lots of energy, so staying firm with what's being asked and with consequences, but pouring praise for every small and big thing is needed. She loves sensory play, painting, books, Spidey and His Amazing Friends, and being outside. Our son loves to be close, books, playing with balls, and being outside.
Diaper changes for our son, snack/meal prep and feed, read, play indoor and outdoor, provide fun developmentally appropriate activities, care while sick, maintain daily schedule, keep children's living and play areas tidy, dress, meet physical, emotional, and social needs, keep kitchen clean, ensure child safety, bathing, launder soiled items from children, and vacuuming.
Most of the care would be for our son in the morning and/or afternoon. Care for both of them would be for date times for us on Monday or Thursday evenings, or (rarely) on Saturday. We may need care for both of them if both our parents and siblings can't care for them when both of us work and they both have to stay home if our daughter doesn't have school that day or one or both are sick.
