Our family is queer and we use gentle parenting. There are no limits on screen time, and we let him eat what he wants when he wants. Caretaker would mostly be playmate while parents are at work or otherwise caring for the household. Some days parents will be present in a working-from-home situation.

Expectations would include making snack plates for the child, playing with him (he is very imaginative), watching kids youtube shows, walking to the nearby park with him, etc.
