We are a fun-loving Christian family. We want to raise our kids to become mature, healthy adults who can make good decisions and are confident in their self-worth. One of the ways we do this is by offering our kids choices and letting them learn from the consequences of their decisions.
We have a 1-year old daughter. She needs diaper changes. She likes dancing, climbing, and being held. Our son is 3 years old. He pretends he is different characters - especially super heroes. Sometimes, he needs help changing outfits, and he is still learning to wipe himself in the bathroom. We may need help getting them snacks or meals. Getting to bed. Playing with them. Helping them get along and being there to help them calm and regulate themselves during emotional outbursts.
We are located in the south part of Colorado Springs. We would like to get to know you, and are considering the possibility of a more regular babysitter schedule.
