We're looking for after school assistance with our 2 children, ages 9 and 11. We do have 2 dogs, so please consider that when applying. We are a neurodiverse household which can result in some difficulties with focus, listening and self-starting or fully completing assigned tasks.
After school duties include:
Snack Prep/ monitoring (ensure they eat something that isn't junk food)
Ensure chores are completed
Homework help when needed
Structured activities or monitoring as they play. We do not allow screens during the week. Accompanying them to the park or just monitoring as they play in the back yard would be the expectation.
Time would be from 3:30 - 5:00 every weekday. For days off from school and during the summer, additional hours may be available. Additional hours would be agreed to on an as needed basis.
