Hi there! We have a happy and energetic 23-month old named Samuel! We also have a friendly dog and cat in a smoke-free home in Addison.

We are seeking two occasional daytime babysitters for days when Sam is home from daycare and we have pressing/urgent work needs. Generally, these have been minor illnesses that require Sam to be home for a certain amount of time. Responsibilities are: making sure Sam is engaged in activities throughout the house (toys, crafts, reading, etc.), prepping and feeding him lunch, putting him down for his nap, giving Tylenol or Advil as needed, and changing his diaper/clothes as needed. He has periods of concentrated independent play but also loves to interact with caregivers, especially through reading and playing simple games together.

The hours needed for occasional weekdays are 7:30 am - 4:30 or 5 p.m. We also sometimes need support for holidays when he's out of daycare but when we have to work (for example, Presidents Day).
