Looking for an incredible, fun, loving, smart, and experienced sitter to join my 6 year-old daughter and my 8-year-old son in caring for them! Must be okay with a small dog (she's so sweet and very old!), a non-smoker, and be someone trustworthy and responsible, who also loves to have fun with and engages with the kids! Games, art, outide play, etc. Bonus points if you don't mind light duties related to the kids, such as folding their laundry, cooking/preparing food, and helping them clean up.
I'm an RN working nights, in need of a sitter looking for per-diem shifts each month. This wouldn't be a "regular" job w/ consistent days. It would be on an as needed basis, likely 2-3 times each month when I have work. This would be a night shift, involving coming over at 6:00pm, possibly preparing/giving the kids dinner if I haven't yet, helping with homework if not done, bedtime, and staying over (guest room), then helping the kids with their morning routine until I'm home, usually by 7:45am.
We are located in Tuckahoe/Eastchester. You would need your own reliable car to get to my house. I do prefer someone with a car though in case I do ever have any driving needs for the kids. While I am usually home in time to take the kids to school, on rare occasion if I'll be late with an emergency at work, you would need to either bring the kids to their bus stops nearby, or drive to school. Background check and references a must.
