My husband and I are "empty nesters". I miss the joy and fun of being around children. I was a nanny throughout college and currently sit for friend and family when needed. I am considered the "fun aunt" by my nieces and nephews.

I am a caregiver with three years of experience babysitting, CPR and first aid certified. I believe in giving parents updates with texts and calls regularly, or whatever their preference. I care about learning, playing, and helping the growth in a child’s life. I love to have fun but I also make sure to stick to the house rules so a child has stability in the home. Caring for a child when a parent can’t be there is extremely important and should be taken seriously. I make sure to do my best for their safety, protection, and wellbeing.

I love being a sitter because I love the moments where I can see the kids smile and have the most fun, and give the parents a worry free break. The experience that I have is I use to babysit this girl I. My neighborhood during the summer when I was in high-school while her mom went to work so she didn’t have to worry about the cost of daycare. My man skills is that I’m an amazing listener and rule follower. If the kids struggle in the it’s like English or music then I am really good at that aswell. I unfortunately don’t have a cpr certificate but I am willing to get one hopefully very soon. I am also an early bird so you would never have to worry about me being late.

I began babysitting when I was around ten, first as a "junior" babysitter for my sister and mother, and then alone as I got older. I have over 20 years experience babysitting children from infants through middle school age, and have worked in a childcare setting for 15 of those years. I also volunteered working with the youth at my church in the past, mostly with middle school girls. Although some ages and personalities are more challenging than others, I always find it rewarding working with children. They see the joy and wonder in things we take for granted, and I am always learning something from them. I love music and reading, as well as doing arts and crafts, playing games, and baking. Since I work full time during the week, I am only available weekends and evenings.
