My husband and I are "empty nesters". I miss the joy and fun of being around children. I was a nanny throughout college and currently sit for friend and family when needed. I am considered the "fun aunt" by my nieces and nephews.

I have 3 years of experience caring for infants and toddlers, and I’ve also looked after school age children, although most of my work has been with younger kids. I am also working towards my CDA in preschool through the school which I am employed. I began babysitting when I was around ten, first as a "junior" babysitter for my sister and mother, and then alone as I got older. I have over 20 years experience babysitting children from infants through middle school age, and have worked in a childcare setting for 15 of those years. I also volunteered working with the youth at my church in the past, mostly with middle school girls. Although some ages and personalities are more challenging than others, I always find it rewarding working with children. They see the joy and wonder in things we take for granted, and I am always learning something from them. I love music and reading, as well as doing arts and crafts, playing games, and baking. Since I work full time during the week, I am only available weekends and evenings.

I recently graduated Oglethorpe University with 10 years of babysitting experience. I have experience with all ages and number of kids. I am comfortable babysitting overnight, driving kids around, and also taking care of pets. I played college soccer so I love to be outdoors and active with kids. I also love to cook/bake and do crafts with kids. I’m super organized and will always clean up after myself and I’m happy to do light housework if needed.
