I have taken all 12 hours of required Alabama DHR courses for childcare. My first aid and CPR certificates have expired but I have received that training as well. I’ve been working with infants and toddlers for about 8 years now. I even had my own toddler class (2yr olds) and my own infant room on separate occasions! I’ve worked with older children less but I still have experience with them as well. Babysitting and being a nanny is more of a hobby for me than it is a job, I don’t necessarily do it for the money, I just really love babies and children and it’s a much easier setting when babysitting than it is when running a class. My schedule is always open, and I don’t mind last minute calls or taking care of your little person just because you need a break.
